I thought it was a game-changer for them, much like picking up Christian could be a game-changer for them. Sadly, it really didn't alter much for them.

Im not sure why people believe one man can change the game. Even if Rock, Austin and Cena simultaneously jumped to TNA right now there wouldn't be any revolution going on. And even much less effect if Rollins, Reigns or Bryan show up somehow.

Well, it's worth keeping in mind at the time TNA had very quickly grown to where it was - it was getting pretty decent ratings on Spike having just been on there for a year and having just been a company for four - and they hadn't really shown just how consistently incompetent they could be. They couldn't have been a threat to WWE, by no means, but they probably could've given Spike that promised 2.0 if they'd built properly on signing people like him and Christian, not f***ed up the good thing they had going with Joe's rise, and had someone who knew how to advertise.

Correct assessment. One person can't change the game completely but he can change the perception. If you get or have one big name then others are more then likely to come. & they had high profile names young and old but just couldn't make it work.

This won't end well. Though Kurt hasn't dropped dead after all of this time like I thought someone with a death wish would, he's is at Dynamite Kid level. Sheer mental determination keeping a deteriorating body going after long term abuse. Kurt Angle at age 60 will be a tragic thing.

"Kurt Angle went to TNA. ...The f*** is TNA?" His debut was actually how I found out about TNA. I was like that with Christian.

And yet according to TNA in that countdown at the end of last year, it's not even one of the 20 greatest moments in TNA history, neither was the announcement Angle was joining TNA.

How could any of those moments even come close to Dixie being put through a table by Bubba Ray Dudley? While the babyface roster surrounds the ring like a pack of sharks.
