His name isn't even Damien Sandow. He's just some jobber named Tom Brandy. I didn't know he was Italian. Well Rusev and Lana are doing a Mero/Sable thing. Sandow can be Brandy. Now we need Goldust to get a new Luna and we do this shit all over.

He was told he wasn't entertaining? The guy was one of the best things on TV from his debut to when he cashed in the Money In The Bank!

I like Sandow. Be interesting to see him as a straight-up face and where he's going with this. Only downer on it for me is he might never be able to go back to the Intellectual Saviour, which was a fun gimmick.
That and the commentary. Dear God. Utter silence for most of it, except for Michael Cole at the very end, who still clearly didn't give a shit when talking. Either they're utterly bored or can't think of anything worth saying, neither of which helps segments.

That whole segment was just cringeworthy. I felt thankful nobody else was in the room.

That whole segment was just cringeworthy. I felt thankful nobody else was in the room. This may be a first for me, but as I watching it I was actually able to notice how quiet the crowd was for the back and forth. I NEVER pick up on that kind of thing, so they have must have been REALLY quiet.

The copycat thing should have gone on for like...a couple repeats and that's it. He did it enough times I was hoping Axel would kick him in the face.

Loved the promo before the Axeman came out.
I thought his mimicry bit was dumb, but the crowd loved it. It's 2015, and the crowd loved a "just copy the last thing you said" bit like he was 5 years old or something. If he gets over, fine, just tone it down a little.

The funniest thing from this segment was Axel bashing Sandow for impersonating others as he then proceeds to tell him off with a Hulk Hogan impersonation. yeah that was my favorite bit "i hate people who try to pretend they're someone else so whacha gonna do..." personally i think they're trying to make people forget about axel again. it seems they keep bringing him out in all the worst possible times for him to come out these last couple of weeks. i assume sandow and axel will have a match on smackdown now where sandow wins. now sure where he goes from here though. new claimant to the master of mind games title? i still want to see the "BOlievers in Axelmania" to become a thing though as a tag team.

So basically they're booking Sandow as Cena Light.

He even buried his old gimmick, so he can't even go back to that. Sandow is f***ed. For a moment when he first spoke I thought he WAS going back to it. Then my heart sank.

I wanted a "Ultra Powers" tag-team between #AXELMANIA and Macho Sandow but now that seems like a long lost dream

The best part is the crowd chanted "thank you Sandow" and he responded with a smile, "your welcome!"

I never change the channel, as annoying as Raw is sometimes.
For this, I turned the channel. It was so crappy that I missed a Bray Wyatt mood-music promo, and almost missed Neville vs. Harper!

Should of had Miz instead of Axel, it would have made for sense for Sandow to still copy Miz since they already established that Miz hates it.
I'm still amazed how Miz and Sandow didn't have a one on one PPV match.

The impersonation thing is what made him get over in the first place, so I don't know why people are complaining that he's doing it now. I think he'll still do it just to mess with heels, but it'll be toned down compared to Mizdow the Stunt Double.

Weird. Watched the clip on YT and I quite enjoy the direction he's going in. The mimic/mock went too long but otherwise, I see potential here in a Sandow who's had enough and is going to be "entertaining" his own way.

I'm a sincerity mark, that got me kind of teary eyed to be honest. I thought he did good. His material to work with, we'll see, but he's fun to get behind. Same. It seemed to really connect with the live crowd as well, which is what it all comes down to.

Sandow made the Miz impersonator gimmick work.
He will be fine.
