For me, Ambrose vs Rollins is probably the match of the year so far. Well-constructed and well-paced match, which isn't easy for a 35 minute match. Filled with amazing spots and brutality. Great story and heel-face interactions. Just everything.
These two never fail to deliver.

I'm surprised at some of the negativity towards MITB. I thought it was a solid show. Owens/Cena is a MOTY candidate, Rollins/Ambrose was very good, MITB was fun, but not the greatest. Hell even the divas match was good. I give it a B.

So sounds like Vince change his mind on the finish of MITB at the last minute

I mock Cena's selling but that was just silly Agreed, and I don't even hate Dean! But I think that TOPPED Cena in the no sell category, in every aspect, especially how his leg as worked over in the match... I mean I can believe guys are durable and have heart and determination and strong will and all that jazz but that was just complete no selling, he shrugged off THREE POWERBOMBS on the outside, one into a bunch of chairs and a Ladder! I mean I can only believe so much guys... Yeah, the powerbomb party on the outside(not to mention the damage to his knee) should've been the end. Seriously, by time he got powerbombed onto the ladder & chairs, I was like "Stop, stop...he's already dead."

Apparently the ending to Ambrose/Rollins finish f***ed up, someone claims that Seth clearly says to HHH "Our fall messed up", given that I think both were supposed to hold the belt to the end.

Here is the only thing I don't get. There has literally been several threads about Rollins looking weak. Tonight he pretty much beats the shit out of Dean Ambrose... And it is stupid, a terrible match, awful finish, burial of Ambrose.. So, what can they do to please? The thing about Rollins is, that, for the past several months, his credibility decreased, even with the MITB briefcase or the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. He lost a lot of matches, making it hard to believe that the Authority would have his back. It seemed like a bit of a stretch to buy that Rollins would give Ambrose such an ass kicking with such a poor win-loss record since he sold out bought in to the Authority last year. For months, he was made to look very incompetent. Would you even buy that Rollins could beat Ambrose at all? I can buy that they are trying to tell a story... That story being that a world champion caliber wrestler was tired of people thinking he was a punk and soft, so he came out with a point to prove. And he proved it by beating the crap out of Dean Ambrose. To me, that is a story that makes sense. He had been all those things you listed recently, but he knew that in reality he is the best. He knew what he could really do. He proved why he us the WWE Champion. And that is because on any given night he can powerbomb the best of the best into smitherines.

The entire point is this. At the end of the whole thing Rollins is still champion, did it on his own terms, without help and he beat Ambrose of all people. Ambrose, Reigns, everyone in the Authority who's not Triple H hell the announcers, they all said Rollins wasn't the best in the Shield, they all said he was carried, they all said it shouldn't be his belt and they all said that he wasn't who he said he was. Rollins proved all of them wrong and now none of them can say shit about it. That's what's the most annoying part about this whole thing. Ambrose and Reigns, the babyface heroes, were proven wrong again. Everything Rollins said was justified and now they, the babyfaces, have to say "well I guess I was wrong here" which is utter bullshit. People can say "well Ambrose barely lost" or "it was a fluke win" all they want but Seth's point was proven and they can't really say shit to it. You should never make the babyfaces appear wrong in this type of situation. It's stupid. I wouldn't worry about it, it's totally going to pay off tomorrow night when Raw's opening promo will have Triple H and Stephanie bag on Rollins for being a total loser of a champion despite what happened tonight! If tomorrow they do that then everything will be ok, if not then Rollins was right so we'll see.

Wow, worst harping to the hard cam I've seen in a long while. Cena just held up the wrong side of his belt to half the arena. He does that every match.

The finish didn't make sense. You never have to have the title in your hands when you hit the mat. Once you unhook it, you win. They both unhooked it so technically Rollins and Ambrose should be co-champs (another crappy finish, no doubt). I'm not normally one to bitch too much over WWE but, I'm sorry, that show totally sucked. The worst of the year by far and the worst in recent memory. The fact that Battleground is up next doesn't help! If you subscribed to the WWE Network for free, I doubt that show will convince anybody to keep subscribing for 9.99 in future. In fact, they're more likely to lose paying customers after that monstrosity. Night guys. No surprise #CancelWWENetwork has kicked up again then.

I've read that the crowd's confusion/seeming indifference during the main was partially spurred on by the Cleveland Cavs losing to Golden State in the NBA Finals, which would've ended (or be close to ending) at the time.

I wish that they didn't have Owens give Cena the apron bomb Cena. You know he's not going to be off TV for an extended period of time, so it just buries everyone else who took that move and makes them look like pussies.

I think now I know why the MITB ending had a very familiar feeling: They literally did the "HHH comes out to celebrate Rollins' win" thing at Payback not too long ago.
