We all know the angles, moments, matches, etc. that are hyped constantly. However, there are ones that don't really get any love. What ones do you vividly remember from your youth? Try to keep it from your preteen and younger years. Terry Funk putting a plastic bag over Ric Flair's head at a COTC in 1989. Blew my mind as a 5/6 year old. www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3WYee-Q_-QThe Fabulous Rougeau Brothers jumping The Rockers. Summer of 89. Back when tag teams didn't need the titles to be involved in feuds. www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCSqAm342OM

DDP's mysterious benefactor.
So after Uncensored '96, Page was kicked out of WCW and forced to live on the streets. Cameras filmed him doing all sorts of things just to get by; I remember on one occasion he sold some guy tickets to a rodeo, only for the poor schmuck to realize (after DDP took his money) that the tickets were for a show the day before. Even the Apter mags got in on it--Pro Wrestling Illustrated did a story about Page coming to work for them.
The angle ended with a car driving up to Page and someone with a white glove beckoning him inside. Shortly after that, Page was back on TV.

Shawn Michaels walking out of matches to lose by count out rather than lose the IC belt, before walking out to avoid losing titles became his RL gimmick. It was a good heel tactic and got me rooting for Hacksaw Jim Duggan of all people.

A lot of the angles from my younger years are some of the most well-known: Andre the Giant getting attacked by Big John Studd and Ken Patera then getting his hair cut, Roddy Piper blasting Jimmy Snuka with the coconut, the David Von Erich/Jimmy Garvin bit on the ranch, etc.
One that has faded was the use of the Freebirds' special hair cream. They planned on using the stuff on everybody in World Class. One week, they targeted Iceman King Parsons, but Buddy Roberts ended up getting slathered with the cream. (Don't remember how it happened.) For a couple of weeks, Buddy would come out in boxer's headgear and a wig. (In more recent times, Kurt Angle did this, but with amateur wrestler's ear protectors.) The payoff was somebody (I think Parsons again, it would make sense for continuity's sake) was executing a snap mare, so he grabbed Buddy by the headgear. Buddy went flying, yet the headgear stayed in Iceman's hands, exposing Buddy as a bald headed geek. The other Freebirds grabbed a towel to cover his head.
Pretty hot angle, if I remember right.

Bobby Heenan insulting the Boss Man's mother. It was ultra heated. I genuinely believed Boss Man wanted to kill him. He handcuffed Bobby Heenan to the ringside rail and threw away the key. Ravishing Rick Rude had to come down to ringside in a tracksuit to help, but he couldn't break the cuffs. It was awesome.

I'll go to my grave haunted by the sad fact that I will never know what photos Baby Doll showed to Dusty Rhodes.

I want to say that Sherri left the WWF almost immediately after that but I'm not sure how true that is. An obscure one, but I remember a feud between Dino Bravo and Ken Patera over who was the strongest man in wrestling that included a tug of war between the two on TV.

I remember seeing Friar Ferguson wrestling on Raw one night, then getting into a fight later with Bam Bam Bigelow. That was as far as that whole thing went. I was genuinely curious to see those guys wrestle each other as a kid.

That story where Rick Martel and Shawn Michaels were feuding for the affections of Sherri and had a match where they weren't allowed to punch each other in the face remains a favorite of mine.

A terrible promo on the TV show of the failed late 90s Stampede revival where a guy (can't remember who) was doing a blinding angle because "STU HART FLIPPED A COIN IN MY EYE!"

It rarely gets mentioned when talking about the greatest feuds, but Rick Rude vs Ricky Steamboat in WCW. My Zod, that feud was great, and I applaud WCW for seeing the work those 2 were doing, and basically making that their top feud. They pretty much made those 2 feuding for the US Title the main focus over the World Title.

The Tazz Rikishi feud in the summer of 2000. For some reason they never faced on PPV and the feud just fizzled out.

Barry Windham turning heel on Dustin Rhodes at the Clash of Champions in November 1992.
Maxx Payne taking the Badd Blaster from Johnny B Badd and firing it in his face causing him to wear a mask for a few months in the summer of 93.
Lord Steven Regal looking for a tag partner and after a hard fought match with Bobby Eaton, agrees to be his partner and takes him shopping and does a makeover turning him into the "Earl of Eaton" in 1995 and forming the Blue Bloods, how they didn't get the tag belts is beyond me.

After getting beat down by the Dangerous Alliance for months, I distinctly remember Sting going apeshit on one of the weekend shows, knocking out the entire faction and hanging Rick Rude over the ring ropes by his robe. These both remind me of the time Steamboat was defending himself against the Alliance (after a match with Bobby Eaton on the Sunday show, I believe) and accidentally spun around and chopped Madusa. She slid away from him like he was a woman-beater, he apologized in total horror, and Rude showed up in a rage and destroyed him.
