Joey Styles "OH MY GOD!!!" Sound less like he saw an incredible move and more like he came upon his Gramma on the toilet.

It's pretty much Joey's award to have, ain't it? As over the top as he was, is there anything wrong with that in the end? He put the match over. They don't even hardly talk about the damn things these days. They're just segues that link twenty minute promo segments together. I'd also like to nominate Tenay. He used to kill me with how indignant he got when a heel did some kind of heel thing. You half expected him to hop over the booth and go get him some. Well, someone did mention how overenthusiastic Don West was at times. I remembered thinking it was a little too much when he sold the Pele move that AJ Styles did. It's like when he yelled "He hit the Pele! He hit the Pele!", it sounded like he was running out of breath. I didn't mind when JR got overenthusiastic at times, but then there were the times when he went crazy for a Stunner or something else. At least he didn't get overenthusiastic when someone picked up "twisty rockets."

I'm all for being enthusiastic but there comes a point where you come off like such a cornball that it's impossible to take the show seriously.
I'm looking at you, Vince McMahon.

GORE! GORE! GORE! GORE!
Paul Heyman singlehandedly made a soft looking running shoulder block sound like someone had been killed. The man is a genius.

Gabe "DANGEROUS!!!" Sapolsky (aka Chris Lovey/Jimmy Bower) Came here to post this.... especially in early ROH he shifted between lovable goof and impressively bad. He would put stuff over to a point where he almost wanted you to ignore everything else happening just to harp on one point. I also got a huge kick out of his name change to Jimmy Bower "I just can't lie to the fans anymore. My name is not Chris Lovey, it's Jimmy Bower." ... first of all, why was this necessary? Second, did anybody care? Third, ... that's STILL not your real name, Gabe!

Getting away from wrestling, in UFC Joe Rogan will scream it's over, over and over again when the dude is on his feet still fighting back or say he's hurt when he's walking around just fine. Then Mike Goldberg will come out of left field with something that has nothing to do with anything. I'll never forget his interesting point from UFC 100 on why Alan Belcher is such a talented fighter: "He always wears really cool shorts." On an semi-related note, I still love the hell out of the Sexyama-Belcher fight from that card.
