To political for my liking
All the Eastern European teams vote for each other
All the Scandinavian countries have each other's back.
UK will never win this again.
I do miss Terry Wogan always making fun of the announcers though.

Tuned in just in time to see our (UK) entry.
Terrible. Just terrible.

The UK will never win again because unfortunately, the BBC choose a shit song every year. Nothing to do with politics or regional bias
As for tonight, Russia, Sweden and Australia were the best.
Any of them would be a worthy winner IMO

"Don't joke with the votes, love" - Graham Norton laying the smackdown on the Russian chap!

And the many LGBT Eurovision fans breathe a sigh of relief that they don't have to risk going to Russia next year.

The U.K entry, which shouldn't be any surprise, was god awful. The late edition of the singers clothes lighting up couldn't save us from another bad score.
But hey well done to Australia for doing so well, not bad going for a country not in Europe.

I wonder why Austria did so badly, they were the hosts and won resoundingly last year.

I do wonder if the "Eurovision Selection Committee" chooses awful entrants on purpose so they/we don't win and actually have to host the thing!!

Weird seeing Australia there. Maybe for future contests one entry per year can be a country not in the European continent. So Australia this year... Next year I dunno Japan maybe.

Ireland reportedly did that in 1994 after they hosted the previous two competitions... And still ended up winning.

I wonder why Austria did so badly, they were the hosts and won resoundingly last year. Because it was mainly because of Conchita and to piss of Russia?

It might explain why we've gone from a country who won the ESC five times, to one who haven't won it since 1997.

Well, this was actually the main thrust of the plot of Father Ted's "A Song For Europe".

What a demotion. Form winning last year to zero points this year. Not really surprising though.
