Well, he had to convert it to Piano, so that takes some skill.

I believe he was given a job in WCW following a dispute over use of the name 'Gorgeous George' as he had been using the name 'Gorgeous George III' on the independents prior to Macho Man's valet using the name in WCW. Gorgeous George was apparently Maestro's great uncle. Randy Savage reportedly did purchase the rights to the name and rumor has it that he originally intended for brother Lanny to use the moniker. Randy was a huge fan of the original Gorgeous George and adopted 'Pomp and Circumstance' as his entrance music from Gorgeous George.

Dropping all humor for my post. I hated...HATED Maestro. He had total Xpac heat from me. At a time when WCW needed compelling realistic wrestlers on tv, they stick this over acting stiff on screen and not only that, he wins. No titles, no big feuds, no matches worth anything. He goes in a beats Brad Armstrong or Disco. He sold more beer and popcorn than Adolphus Busch and Orville Reddenbacher. I hated that wcw closed down but I swear at one point during an invasion wcw guy squash match, I turned to my buddy and said, "well at least there is no more Maestro".

TBF, he was around in Russo Era, Mk. 1, when you weren't going to get any compelling, realistic wrestlers. Me and my friend did meet him unexpectedly at an indy show, he was pretty nice.
