WWECW was great when they stopped pretending to be the ECW of the 90's and Syfy got off their backs on putting in "Sci-Fi themed characters" and just put on a solid wrestling show.

I miss in the sense that I miss lower-card guys getting a chance to work and grow which is what it provided in its last few years.
If the brand was still around somehow, I assure the creative freedom would propel guys like Fandango and Maddox to being IWC darlings.

I enjoyed it from start to finish. I went to one of the earliest shows (RVD, Angle, Sabu), a middle show (Punk, Morrison, Miz) and one of the later shows (Christian, Dreamer, Finlay, Swagger), and the quality was always there. It was a pretty perfect system to introduce fans to new guys while having them gain valuable experience working with veterans.

This is why I think Lashley should have been in Big Daddy V's place on WWECW. Would have been a better and more organic fit than the immediate uber push he got on Smackdown.

I really wasn't a fan until Christian came back. From that point on though, it was an amazing wrestling show.

I miss the illusion that Christian is important but that's about it.

I've said this before, but just to clarify: Sheamus vs. Goldust was honestly one of my favorite feuds ever. It wasn't ECW, but it was a version of WWE that I truly enjoyed.

I loved the show. It more or less was the best wrestling program on TV for damned near its entire run and wound up being a case of the rare moment that Vince learned from his own mistake (i.e., deliberately short-arming D2D), since after that he actually treated it seriously and actually got behind it even after they were done using it as a vehicle to push Lashley.
I was upset when they first moved Henry over to become ECW champion until I saw how they used him as champ. It was fantastic and his feud with Matt Hardy was easily the most entertaining feud to me at that time (and this was even during the middle of Jericho's fantastic serious heel run).
Speaking of Matt Hardy, I think he hit his zenith during his run as ECW champ. Does anyone remember the champ v champ v champ match between him, HHH, and Jericho when Smackdown changed networks? Sure, it was an absolute guarantee that HHH was going over (because of course he was), but both Jericho and Hardy were treated as equals to him in both the build up to the match and during the match itself. That right there was a sign for how serious they took the brand at the time. If only that continued after Matt left the brand to feud with Jeff.
