I think Negan ought to be one of two things-one would be indiscriminate swearing with bleeps, only dropping the bleep for one epic f$@* bomb at season's end. Two would be "mother dick"ing every phrase and panning to background characters trying to decipher what he's trying to say.

A huge potential spoiler, supposedly from a new casting notice for episode 616: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} Sounds like someone's head could end up meeting "Lucille" on the season finale. I just wonder how they'll handle all of Negan's F-bombs from the comic. I'm guessing the ending of the series is with the... "event" happening. Gotta say, that's going to be a pretty badass cliff hanger. Although, gotta wonder how brutal they will go with it on the show. Guessing the first part of the season will be the No Way Out Storyline then Something to Fear in part 2 of the season.

That's one thing I can never understand about American censorship. You can show a man rip another man's throat out with his teeth, you can show a woman stab a zombie girl in the head & put out a dude's eye but show a tit or say f*** & everybody loses their shit. You honestly have more censorship on cable than we have on network tv here.

I still hope John Hamm plays Negan. Or Christopher Meloni.

As long as things aren't ridiculously overdone either way, I couldn't care less. As far as Negan is concerned, I can survive with or without the excessive F-bombs. I'm guessing the ending of the series is with the... "event" happening. Gotta say, that's going to be a pretty badass cliff hanger. Although, gotta wonder how brutal they will go with it on the show. Anyone else expecting to feel relieved and back to normal once Fear The Walking Dead ends and the regular series begins?

I haven't seen Meloni lately but he can be pretty bulky as seen on Oz and SVU and I think he would be a good fit as Negan

Wasn't Negan written with the thought of Henry Rollins playing him in any adaptations?

Yeah, I read the graphic novel after watching the show and I was surprised how different the governors were portrayed. David Morrissey looked too normal and clean cut instead of looking like ...... a pirate? A member of a biker gang? How would you describe it?

Part of me wants to see Negan on TV, but then another part of me remembers how royally they messed up The Governor. I actually preferred TV Governor. Comic Governor looked like a skeezy, untrustworthy guy so the fact he was bad didn't come as a shock. TV Governor looked and initially came across as a decent fellow so the fact he was evil was a surprise.

Yeah, TV gov was actually the kind of guy I could see people being duped by and rallying behind.
Comic governor was more a proto-Negan type character.
Both great, just different.

You honestly have more censorship on cable than we have on network tv here. I'll always remember being at my cousin's house, with my other cousin's newborn over there. Some ridiculously violent movie was on, the baby in its car seat staring at it. Then, as soon as a nipple is shown, "AH TURN THE BABY AWAY HE CAN'T SEE THAT." Basically, violence is totally cool here, anything remotely sexual is the devil. It's because we're a bunch of morons who have to have these very overt standards instead of common sense. You can't quantify violence, but you sure can quantify words or nudity.

Is the show good again yet? I gave up after that completely bogus third season. Morgan piques my interest though because I think besides Shane he was by far the best, most compelling character in the show. I hope they can handle him here a bit better than in the comics. The last season in my opinion was the best one in a long time. I also feel that Shane was the show's most compelling character, but season 5 was really good except for the two or so 'hospital' episodes, which were mostly dull.

I haven't really read a lot of the comics except for some stuff involving Negan. When Negan shows up and the moment happens, where will the show go then? Most fans are really chomping at the bits for Negan to show up. So where do they go when that happens?

Most fans are really chomping at the bits for Negan to show up. So where do they go when that happens? If it's anything like the comics then the Negan story could last a long long time. At least 2 or 3 seasons. I mean the Governer lasted a season and a half and he was in the books for around 8 issues. Negan's story lasted around 20 issues.
