I'm not the type of person to offend people so I apologize if anyone found my last post offensive. However one would argue that the comic set a similar tone. We'll just leave it at that. I meant you no offense in my response. I am quite sensitive on that subject for very personal reasons. I stopped and instantly deleted a few episodes of this show and others when children have been harmed. Simulated or not I find our increasing willingness to depict harm to innocent children appalling. Tv shows and movies have been pushing this with increasing frequency and The Walking Dead is a pretty bad offender. I swear I just about quit this yr and it won't be hard to figure out which episode push that button with me. If any viewers are ok with this kind of thing, that's ok and I'm not throwing salt at those viewers. My issue is with the writers etc. who produce those scenes for shock. You can advance a story thru implication. They have done exactly that for decades. lildude8218 don't apologize en masse because of what I wrote back. I hot shouted that post and was not trying to tell you what to do. I typed on impulse and I apologize to you. You are a solid contributors here and I enjoy reading your posts and suggestions.

The DVD and Blu-Ray for Season 6 of Walking Dead will be released on August 23rd. I believe they filmed an alternate version of the finale we saw with Negan cursing in this one, not sure how true that is.

Did they not show the end of the airplane story, or did I miss it?

But I could've sworn they said last week that we would learn the fate of the airplane this week.

I caught some of the episode and found it dull. Aside from Strand and Nick, I don't really care for the cast of characters.

The whole issue I have with it is that the characters seem to put themselves in the situation. Why are you going to the yacht? Who the hell cares? You're this close to death and you're BS'n around.
Why are you talking to a stranger over the radio? After what she's seen, society crumbling, people attacking each other, etc. It doesn't make sense, the characters in TWD do everything they can to avoid danger, these guys just walk into it.

I disliked most of the last season of FtWD, but I do kinda like that these people are still caught up with trying to be nice, trying to be humane even, which is what most people would be like, for a bit any way.
It's still a cast of tropes, but I didnt hate last night's episode....

I can appreciate that FtWD is trying to be a character study rather than a survival horror show, but it needs better characters.
The adults are actually ok, but there's too much teen angst crap with the kids.
Damn kids. Need another Vietnam to thin out their ranks a little.

I enjoyed the episode. In defence of the characters being too stupid and trusting, they're only like a handful of weeks into the zombie apocalypse whereas Team Rick have had to survive out there for like 3 years.
It makes sense that they'll still have their humanity. The mum wanting to save and help as many people as possible, the girl craving friendship and someone to talk too and eventually being naïve enough to be tricked by Jack. They've only been surviving for 3 weeks and, until now, haven't encountered anyone like The Governor or Terminus to cause them to start being more cautious and less trusting of random people.
I'm still not too keen on a lot of the characters though. I like Strand, Nick has grew from annoying to a pretty likeable character, Travis is a decent enough character... wanting to do good things and help others but sensible enough to not risk his family and the old guy is cool.
The mum is kinda annoying, I can't stand the other two teens and the old guy's daughter is bland. It's annoyin really, surely by now TV producers realise that the most annoying character on any show is the angsty, whining teen yet FTWD give us two of them.

it's the whole FEAR, let's make it the exact same as WALKING ..... without the charm ..... and great characters ..... or worth .....
would rather see spot one-off episodes of the characters we all KNOW!

I watch FWD with the assumption that most of the characters will eventually turn into villains. Like we're watching a group of survivors that will take a more sinister turn than Rick and his crew, and instead have more in common with Negan & the Saviors.

Yeah I reckon they're going to turn bad and are going to form their own version of Woodbury or something.
