RAW is live from Atlanta, and this week is the go-home show for Battleground, this Sunday on the WWE Network.
Last week on RAW, Brock Lesnar destroyed J&J Security's Cadillac, and sent Seth Rollins running for the hills ahead of their meeting in St. Louis for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. But what does The Beast Incarnate want more - the title, or to destroy Rollins for costing him the title at WrestleMania? And how will Triple H react to Rollins fleeing at the first sign of confrontation?
Another man who's having second thoughts these days is Kevin Owens. After last week's tremendous half-hour battle for the WWE United States Championship between John Cena and Cesaro, Owens attempted a sneak attack, only for Cena to hit Owens with the Attitude Adjustment. And Owens learned last week that he's also got a rematch with Finn Bálor for the NXT Championship next month in Brooklyn. Is Owens spread too thin, and is he even looking past Cena this Sunday? And will Cesaro play any role in all this?
Bray Wyatt is still getting the better of Roman Reigns. Last week on RAW, Wyatt sent an imposter out for Reigns to spear, all to cost Reigns a match with Sheamus. Then on SmackDown, Wyatt was able to hit Reigns with another Sister Abigail. Reigns even admitted in an interview with Michael Cole that beating Wyatt at Battleground may not be enough to end things between them. Is there any way for Reigns to get a mental advantage tonight?
Randy Orton returned from his recent holiday last week, surviving being thrown into the ringpost to hit Sheamus with an RKO. Orton would then RKO both members of The Ascension on SmackDown to send a message to Mr. Money in the Bank, ahead of their meeting at Battleground on Sunday. How will Sheamus respond to Orton's big return?
Team Bella continues to grow in influence. Last week on RAW, Brie Bella defeated Paige with help from Divas Champion Nikki Bella and Alicia Fox, and on SmackDown, Brie and Alicia defeated Naomi and Tamina. There's been recent speculation that NXT stars Charlotte and Sasha Banks are iminent to make their WWE main roster debuts, could they possibly be Paige's long awaited backup, or does the Anti-Diva have to wait even longer to be able to compete with Nikki and the Divas Division?
Rusev is back (in boots), and last week, he attacked Dolph Ziggler so badly, he sent Ziggler to the hospital, with Ziggler's return indefinite. With that, Lana's main (and likely only) supporter is out of the picture, especially as Rusev is now flanked by Summer Rae. We can imagine it'll be a long night for the Ravishing Russian in Atlanta...
All this, plus the Ryback/Big Show/Miz deal, Prime Time Players and the New Day, and anything else that might be going on, tonight from 8/7c on USA!
