It's going to be a unique write-up for the next Raw methinks, as you do have to say goodbye to someone again (unless you're waiting for the one after that, given Vince says what he says).

I love your blogs. Woukd you agree with me that Survivor Series 94 is the turning point in the New Generation era, where the Kliq become the power in the company. Yeah I know Backland gets the belt, but he drops it just 1 week later to Diesel, while you have Shawn and Razor alternating for the IC belt. While Bret goes to wrestling evil Dentists and Taker takes on King Kong Bundy Would appreciate your thoughts

I admit I found the GIF of the Clowns R Us team in the Heartbreak Hotel segment hilarious.

Good review, what's most glaring is that Bret and Bob do a great submission match here, then do an absolute stinker at WM11, (even Bret admits it in his book) maybe Owen was the missing ingredient. Yeah this is the time of the Kliq, them not even jobbing the Tag Belts, (which they could have done to further the Team Split storyline) is a big clue. It's also the start of the HBK vacating rather than losing titles list

If I recall, I remember Kevin saying he was surprised when Vince told him he'd be world champion, and I think speculated that it was done to take HBK down a few pegs after he was trying to gun for it himself. Of course, that's my faulty memory combined with Kevin possibly painting himself in a favorable light, and doesn't preclude Kliq power, since if Vince WAS trying to humble HBK by giving the gold to his buddy instead of him, he'd have cause to do so if the Kliq were flexing their collective bargaining power.
Also, Bull Nakano is awesome.

Also, Bull Nakano is awesome. Well seeing as HBK held the IC belt during that period and was in the ME himself with setting up a face turn (in there WM match no less) and Vince's man crush was evident, I doubt it was that big a knock down. In fact I'm think it was more just that both were faces at the same time, and HBK they had just done a run during WM

That said, it'd have happened sooner or later, Nash was money, or would be in time. When he got the belt, though, I think we all know by now how that worked out, with mediocre challengers for most of it.

Shawn and Diesel vacate the Tag Belts. Vacating belts would start becoming a bit of a habit for Shawn
