So... Is there a reason why Tom Brady looks like Shawn Stasiak in the court sketches done of him? Those sketches are only slightly better than Supreme Court ones. Not high praise. Promise.

Of course: Ian Rapoport @rapsheet Source: IK Enemkpali was claimed by the #Bills. For real. #Rex Rex Ryan has learned nothing Rex must really hate EJ Manuel

Yeah, decking him was wrong but it isn't the first fight between teammates, hell not even the first involving the starting QB or even the first involving the starting QB in the last week and Geno seems to be the one that caused it all.

IK does have a history (he did get arrested for punching an off duty cop) but every former player has said "what does this say about what players think of Geno Smith, and how Geno handles himself?" Rumblings are coming out that the veterans do not respect Geno Smith and feel that he doesn't have a good work ethic and is not dedicated enough.

I could be wrong, but to me all of this just makes it look like Geno has pulled this type of shit before. He hasn't been popped in the mouth, because somebody stopped that from happening, but it just all screams he's done something like this before. Like he's gotten in someone's face because that person confronted him about something, and acted like that person wouldn't do anything, he's always been saved, this time he wasn't.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Rams anticipate Todd Gurley (ACL) missing the "first couple games" of the season.

The Jets are like a soap opera that never ends. It just recasts characters and finds weird twists to put into the story to keep people watching.

Honestly, if the Jets really want to make a message they should of fired Geno too.

My opinion on the deflate thing is this. This should have been a fine. There should have been no wasted money on a pointless Wells report that only existed to strengthen the case against Brady. The four game suspension was so absurdly over the top that Goddell could have been fired for making it. After upholding it in a kangroo court in an absurdly unfair process where he reviews his own judgement and getting the league sued he has to be fired. Each day this goes on the league looks worse and worse.
I agree with the Bills adding some punch to their defense.

I hate to say it, but there probably will and honestly, should be a strike/lockout the next time the CBA comes up. Some stuff needs to change. But you're right in the sense that *something* very well may have happened, so a reasonable fine should have been issued against the team. The Wells report and everything after has been a parade of stupidity that has cost way too much time and money. Nobody looks good here, it's just a matter of the league looking much, much worse as days go by.

Colts signed WR T.Y. Hilton to a five-year, $65 million extension that includes $39 million guaranteed.

Good signing by the Colts.
Still trying to figure out how no one else but Brady has been singled out in this unfair, over the top punishment. Goodell is a headhunter.

Well, that means the Colts won't be able to resign both Fleener and Allen without releasing some people. If Werner adapts as well as I think he will to strong side LB, then Walden's big contract can be ditched. If Henry Anderson as good as advertised, then Kendall Lankford could be expendable as well. I also wonder if either Mathis or Cole can return to form, though Newsome is developing nicely in that regard.

If so, good for him. I enjoyed that celebration. If not, still good for him. He's been a good receiver for Luck. Plus I haven't really heard anything negative about him.
