Anyone else watching? This season may be better than the first I think but man episode 3, goodness, may be sadder than Jurassic Bark. They hinted at Rick's problems in the past but that was something else. The side plots with Summer starting her first race war and Jerry and Beth fighting over why Rick is there were hilarious though.

What I'm liking most about this Season is that Morty is a veteran of Rick's insanity now that Summer tags along. I mean he's still Morty, but he gets it.
The ending in episode three was sad. It's a cartoon that shows that there are layered consequences to our actions.
One of my favorite sequences from any cartoon was in season one where they had to bury themselves. Just think about that. Burying yourself in your own backyard.

I'm lost. I thought there was only 2 episodes so far this season, the one with Unity & the one with Fart. What am I missing?

and this is the annoyance of being British.
Back when Bravo aired Adult Swim it wasn't a problem, now I don't know where to go.
Really enjoyed Season 1 so first chance I get I will be all over Season 2.

Have finally gotten around to watching The first 4 eps of Season 2 (Thank you Adult Swims website)
and My god it has been a thing of beauty so far, all 4 episodes have been absolutely great, I mean I liked Season 1 but if Season 2 carries on the way it is going it is going to be an even greater season.
Just incredibly well written and great continuity as well.
Only slight nit pick and this is very minor, but I hope they don't turn Summer into Meg Griffin, a.k.a making her the Punch bag of the series..
But yeah been awesome so far, look forward to more.
This show just might overtake Archer as my favourite Adult based Cartoon.

Much like most of today's popular animated programs I didn't pay this show much mind when it first came out, but gave it a try based on positive word of mouth.
But now that I have had a chance to watch every episode up until the current one and I must say I am rather impressed.
It hits all of the right tonal notes, it comedic and weird but not over the top or off putting and as others have mention can be downright emotional when it wants to be but without feeling too forced.
Not bad for a series that was originally a crudely animated spoof of Back To The Future.

Haven't seen the latest episode yet but this season has been masterful. I'm only 3 episodes in and I already think I'm witnessing something truly amazing here.

I was super shocked when they killed off Mr. Poopybutthole. Do you think Rick is just gonna bring him back to live with mad science somehow or is he really gone for good? I mean I get that that's how this show rolls, but still you don't just kill off a beloved character who's been there from the beginning.

Rick and Morty is just pure excellence. Season 2 has been amazing so far and I don't see them slowing down any time soon. This is definitely my favorite cartoon.

Didn't see anything from S2 yet but you know that Harmon has a knack for grand 2nd seasons?
There seems to be a little Community story in one of the first episodes of S2, can anyone tell me which one it was and what exactly happened there??

They just released an official Rick and Morty announcer for Dota 2. My games are now called by them. It's just about the best thing possible.

You're much better off seeing it yourself (you'll know it when you see it) but in case you can't wait: {Spoiler}In the third episode Rick meets his ex, the hivemind Unity, who is controlling an entire planet. They hook up again and there's a part where Rick is watching TV and getting Unity to make the show do stuff-"Now make them cry but happy cry. Now make em all make fun of the blonde one. Now make em all do it on the table. Can't believe you created a whole show for me-now cancel it! Ok now put it back on! Haha...alright I'm bored.

Damn! Last night's episode was just...damn one of the most weighty emotional endings ever. It almost surpasses the ending of episode 203. (And gave us a cover of Hurt on par with the Johnny Cash version.) And supposedly it was also the season finale to boot so now we got to wait more then a year for new episodes. Curse you Adult Swim and your long lead times.

I've just started getting into this show over the last few weeks, and I'm flat out hooked. Sucks I got on right at the end of the season. Hell, I subscribed to Hulu Plus to watch the first season back. Hopefully they add the second one soon since I only got around to the last 4 or so episodes of the season. But damn am I enjoying this show, which is good since I'm completely shut off by this season of South Park and its "sacrificing entertainment to make a point (and not even really taking a side or arguing neutrality)" episodes.
And the feels at the end of that episode (and BTW, THAT is how you do it South Park, not some hokey "Hey everyone! We've been around forever! That means we're a part of your life" bullshit), not just that everyone seemed screwed, but that feeling when the credits kicked up and that feeling of "Oh shit, I gotta wait a LONG time to see where this goes". They certainly could've made this episode a series finale and it would've worked. Hell, I'd have believed it was if I wasn't aware Season 3 is in the works. Plus, being new to the show, I'm curious as to whether they'd follow up in the first episode of next season or if they'd retcon the whole thing (considering all the storylines about alternate universes and realities).

Holy crap. I, damn, I admit I cried. I heard it was emotional but man I did not expect that. I don't know if I can take a year and half wait.
How excellent was the use of Hurt? Right down to using the empire of dirt line to tie Rick's actions to his opinion on Earth before his decision. Amazing stuff.
