Didn't know they had a list for TV shows now. Of course, like the Top 250 films, the list is down to user votes. linkIt may not be my absolute favourite show ever (would make my Top 5 easily), hard to argue with the #1 spot.

Apparently so. It's strange in some ways, it lists Blackadder Goes Forth, Blackadder the Third and Blackadder II as separate entries, yet they're obviously different series of the same show.

1. The list should not include mini-series. Make a separate list for that. 2. Shows that are new/still on the air should be null and void until they are done. This is an all time list. 3. As stated, some aren't really TV shows. Dr. Horrible is not a TV show, neither are the ones mentioned above.
What a weird list. Needs fixing in my opinion.

Family Guy only just makes it in..
Good to see Rick and Morty up so high.
Surprised The Simpsons isn't as high as you would think, My guess is the newer episodes bring it down.

I am surprised I Love Lucy is as low as it is. I thought it should have been atleast in the top 25 if not higher.

Surprised to see the '78-'01 version of Top Gear on there. It wasn't a terrible show, but 152nd best of all time? Nope.
I can only assume most of the ratings come from confusing it with the '02-present version of the show.

Only one I've seen in the top ten is The World at War (which I own), but I don't watch much TV.

Good list, although five should be number one. I need to watch the Game of Thrones, heard it is good, but never seen it. I didn't like Band of Brothers, not sure why, I guess it just wasn't my cup of tea. Breaking Bad is on of the best shows I seen, but I do think number five and number eight are better shows. Only cartoons that I watched on the list are Simpsons (deserves to be higher), South Park, Family Guy (shouldn't have cut it) and Futurama. All in The Family is too low. Now that there is a list of best TV shows, I bet that more people will give the Wire 1 star without watching it or if they did watch it they didn't understand how amazing the show is.

"Last Week Tonight with John Oliver" is in the top 15? Seriously? That's preposterous.
/wakes up Monday morning to see social media is ablaze with websites stating "Watch this video of John Oliver absolutely obliterating BRV!"
Crap...

I am surprised I Love Lucy is as low as it is. I thought it should have been atleast in the top 25 if not higher. Just like the imdb 250 movie list it's heavily brocentric Buffy is not listed and Parks and Recs is not even in the top 100 so they can have multiple pokemondragon shows.

Yeah, I love Last Week Tonight and think it's one of the funniest shows on TV at the moment. But it shouldn't be where it is right now for that kind of show. If it runs for a few years and the quality is kept at the same high level consistently, then it deserves a high placing but this is like when The Dark Knight was like #3 on the Top 250 film list when it had only been out for a couple of weeks.

Ha at Game of Thrones number 4. There are A LOT of issues with the list, but that's just the first big one so I'll start there.
