I tuned into Raw last night. The Dudley's are definitely needed. Did anyone notice the marshmallow stomping that The New Day were "laying in" in the corner? Holy smokes...that was the worst stomping Ive ever seen. Been a fan for three decades, never seen worse. Ever. The Dudley's could teach those ballet dancers a thing or two. Hell, isnt Arn Anderson an agent? Someone should teach those guys to stomp. I just got a kick that you mentioned "Stomp" when New Day's theme is modeled after Kirk Franklin.

I'm not really sure what everyone is crying about. There was an actual tag team match as the main event of raw. The New Day are really doing a great job in this situation and making this feud fun. While the Dudley's won the match, they didn't get them through the table, so they are giving the feud somewhere to go. In the end, I see Dudley's getting Xavier Woods through the table, but losing the title match. It adds interest to the tag division, the Dudleys are over despite what people think, and it brings a fresh team in besides the New Day and Prime Time Players as the only teams that are over in the division. Lucha Dragons are over. So are los matadores as the tag team jobberinos. I like the addition of the dudleyz Waiting for harper/rowan and the usos to comeback to really super charge the division

I'm fine with them being back and doing their old routine. I wish they'd change their attire though. The camoflauge stuff looks dated. Let them wear black with a new logo on it. They can sell t-shirts, wristbands, baseball caps, sweatshirts etc...with that design too.

Well, we'd have a better division, but the WWE only has themselves to blame.
The Ascension? Shit all over by the commentary team, buried right off the bat from NXT.
Lucha Dragons? Never really given a chance.
Los Matadores? Worked well for a time, then the rug was pulled out.
3MB? They release two-thirds of the act right when they were gaining momentum.
Besides New Day, the only other team worth anything is the PTP.

I'm glad they're back and I hope they win the tag titles at the TLC ppv.

So you've never liked this board then Yeah, I was gonna say. I'm not even one of those "EVERYONE IS TOO NEGATIVE" types, but I'm still wondering what makes this different than any other time lol.

...Were we watching the same match on Raw? The reason why the Dudleys are there is because they are a more effective team than literally every team WWE has right now. The chemistry they have together and their ability to play to the crowd is something you just don't see in modern WWE tag wrestling. They were a breath of fresh air, as odd as that may sound. They seemed...natural and that's something I so rarely think watching WWE matches this year.
Experience does mean something in wrestling. It means a lot, actually, and the Dudleys have got plenty of it. Unless it's like some unnatural "brothers from another mother" type of connection, teams don't just pop up with the kind of chemistry they have.

The problem is that even if the Dudleys put over New Day in the end, they will likely Put over ONLY the New Day (who don't need it because they're already over) and no other teams before disappearing and nothing in the tag division will change.

I liked this board better before it became constant bitching and bellyaching. Tell WWE to start booking things better and pushing more talents then.

I'm happy with it. So far they've done there job making a middle aged wrestling fan (me) mark out. I'm no attitude era apologist (loved it as a teen, cringe at alot of it now) but the Dudleys were great so see and can still go. Age shouldn't matter if you can still perform. And I don't think they'll get in the way of other teams. PTP and New Day are the main event teams, so Dudleys will do well with them. Lucha Dragons are great, but admittedly a lower level, and Matadores are jobbers. If booked well, it'll be great.... if book well? Shit...

If that awful clothesline wasn't enough to make the match look as sloppy as the rest of their long TNA career, them nearly killing Xavier with that horrible throw over the top rope was.

Even Bubba's pre match promo wasn't anything ground breaking but was just delivered in such a natural manner that it was refreshing to see in today's stagnant product.

To be fair, this place used to be a lot less passive-aggressive and a lot less focused on trying to find ways to get shots in at people without technically breaking the rules than it is now.

I feel like you are making shit up. The hip Toss over the top rope was just fine There's nothing wrong with it at all. And if there was, that's on Woods he's taking his own bump. Which clothesline are you taking about ? D-Von's flying Clothesline?

Because they want to keep wrestling and it's better than going back to TNA. WWE didn't need them, but that doesn't mean they can't benefit from them. People give part timers and old returning stars crap, but lapsed fans will tune in for them.

We certainly used to have a lot more fun with stuff we didn't like. Speaking of: I love the Dudleyz. They're experienced, fresh, and haven't worked much or at all with the entire current division. They aren't semi retired Outlaws, both of them are in the shape of their lives or close to. They shouldn't beat New Day for the belts but we have a shitload of fresh matchups now. Let them squash the Matadors, tear down the house with the Dragons, have a brutal match with the Wyatts, handicap match with New Day (that they can lose), wrestle main eventers in handicap matches (and win), they have so f***ing much they can do.
