So there's a tag team other than New Day that people actually care about? (I don't really count The Wyatt's or Ambrose/Reigns because they're not in the tag division) They care about PTP and the Dragons too

Well, we'd have a better division, but the WWE only has themselves to blame. The Ascension? Shit all over by the commentary team, buried right off the bat from NXT. Lucha Dragons? Never really given a chance. Los Matadores? Worked well for a time, then the rug was pulled out. 3MB? They release two-thirds of the act right when they were gaining momentum. Besides New Day, the only other team worth anything is the PTP. usos will be back soon.

I couldn't be happier that they're here. I've been clamoring for it since their TNA contracts ended.
What I want out of this is a small nostalgia run followed by some heel "Bully Ray" solo work.
New Day won't suffer at all losing any matches here, their gimmick isn't about being ass kickers, they can lose a few here during their upward momentum without it hurting them much at all.

Praise this man Even though I kinda disagree with LD who are only on the roster since post-WM RAW, I believe they will eventually get their chances (if WWE doesnt hire Steiners, WGTT, Bashams, Hardyz.......)

Yeah, I was gonna say. I'm not even one of those "EVERYONE IS TOO NEGATIVE" types, but I'm still wondering what makes this different than any other time lol. To be fair, this place used to be a lot less passive-aggressive and a lot less focused on trying to find ways to get shots in at people without technically breaking the rules than it is now. I disagree. Passive-agression has always been arife (am I spelling that right?) here.

I do agree that newer, more modern gear might help. The camo can still be there, but just...something that doesn't look like you stumbled onto an early 00s Raw.

I liked this board better before it became constant bitching and bellyaching. Tell WWE to start booking things better and pushing more talents then. Lol, if you told someone two or three years ago that Tyler Black would be WWE Champion for 6 months and going, and Claudio Castagnoli and Kevin Steen had a top of the card feud, also Steen beat Cena they would lose it. If you aren't seeing change and new talents being pushed, I don't know what to tell you. Really the only old guard is Cena, but he is having awesome matches with young talent, proving he still belongs here. It's not the Cena, Orton and Bautista show anymore, that everyone complained about.

I'm very cool with the Dudleys coming back. They shouldn't be beating all the other teams all the time though, it should be like "they're back! can they hang with this hungry new tag team scene?" They already came back and beat the top 2 teams in the division. And sure, New Day will likely get their win back, maybe even the Prime Time Players. But in the end, if they have to put the Dudleys over first, it's a wash.

There's only about 4 over teams in the division. And considering we've already seen those teams face each other a million times before, the tag division needed someone like the Dudleys.

I love The Dudleys as much as the next guy, but it for all the work that he did as Bully Ray, it seems like a waste for him to devolve back into Bubba. Granted, it was in a different company and the current gimmick is the one paying the bills....

Count me as another who's for their return. All of a sudden New Day can feud with someone who actually is kind of a big deal.

It's a good addition but it does feel like it came out of nowhere. Like Vince was taking a dump, looked at the ratings and then thought "yea let's get the Dudleys!".

The Dudleyz were more an early 2000s thing, but I like the idea that people unhappy with them being here will push it back further and further to illustrate resentment. "And here we have Captain f***ing Ahab and Ishmael, here to rub their old man smell all over New Day!" The Dudleys were the hottest tag team in ECW starting around 1996. Then they came to WWE around '99/00. People aren't pushing back dates to be convenient for their argument. Even if you count only their WWE stuff the height of their popularity was a dozen years ago. Think about how many TLC matches there have been over the years, and then remember that they were in the first one. Also remember that they left WWE before Money In The Bank matches existed (or at least right around when they were invented), before WWECW, etc. They are an old tag team. People don't need to fudge dates for that to be the case. Now, there is an argument to be made that they can still go. This would be totally fine if WWE wasn't already relying on other nostalgia acts. They are getting a title shot the same night as Sting for example. Instead of the Dudleyz getting the honor of being "THE vets" they instead look like another old act WWE has dug up to try to win fans back. People that are sick of the over reliance on established stars of the past will naturally be harsher on them than they would be if they were the only vets being pushed. As for this helping with the casual audience, I was watching tv with an old man a week ago and when he saw that Sting was on the show he literally laughed and said "What the hell is his old ass still doing around?" And my mother laughs at the Undertaker for being old. So even some old southerners that grew up thinking wrestling was real want these guys to go away. I'm sure there are people that are happy to see them, but these seem to be people that would have bought a ticket or ordered the Network anyway without the legends. Obviously, I'm generalizing and everyone has their own specific thoughts about it. But this is how it appears to me at least.
