I've always had a soft spot for the luchadors in WCW, but watching more WCW makes me see how good Silver King really was. He may look like the least intimidating guy this side of El Dandy...but he was great Shame he never got upgraded to Gold King.

Gilberg held that lightweight championship for a long f***ing time. Last time I remember seeing him was mid 1998 and he just came out as lightweight champ in late 1999 to face HHH for the wwf championship

Eps. 78 of Prime Time Wrestling has Heenan ask Monsoon "Was JYD wearing a turtle neck or was that his bottom lip?" Within seconds we then go to a "Rebel" Dick Slater match where the stars and bars earn Slater boos in Boston even as the babyface.
Later on Mr. Fuji and Little Tokyo do Asian stereotype comedy and midget mocking. Classy all around.
Slick does a promo on the Flower shop and Piper shows up and tells Slick he has "lips like a bicycle pedal"
The show also has a 30 min Santana/Orton match and Heenan tripping on stage, leaving Monsoon to remark "He almost took a bump!"

Watching the 3/3 & 3/10/97 episodes of Raw & Nitro I learned that Luther Reigns was one of the guys that Piper tried out for his team at Uncensored, that Hardbody Harrison was the 1st person to be thrown in the pool, that WWE had the stairs in the middle of the ring, instead of by the corner, when they debuted the Titantron and ramp for Raw Is War, & that Raw back then was like today with 15 minute promos starting each hour.

Piper & Heenan's back and forths are amazing. Piper: So Boobsy, which one you would choose?(in reference to Elizabeth & Sherri) Bobby: What kind of question is that? Sherri of course. Piper: Well if I was drunk enough, I would side with your pick, but since I have sense, I choose Liz. Bobby: Figures the only way you'll get a date is drunk, but the women I know don't date girls in skirts.

As far as I know, Piper and Heenan only worked together in WWE on Prime Time Wrestling in 1989 (not on the Network) and SummerSlam 1991.

That's how you know it's Russo, and heavily burnt out Russo at that.

Pepper had already been fed to Al snow at this point, as well as them building up to the kennel from hell match so having boss man and Al snow wrestle each other two ish weeks before that match is f***ing stupid

The Acolytes' Three Commandments
1. Thou shall not drink their beers.
2. Thou shall not mess with their rats. (Amanda wasn't the first person to use the word rat on TV)
3. Thou shall not cut a promo on the Acolytes.

Thou shall not cut a promo on the Acolytes. I just saw them say that 5 minutes ago. Stephanie McMahon had her first match teaming with Test against Jeff Jarrett and Debra
