The entire cast of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. I know they're intentionally supposed to be complete scumbags, but I can't watch the show because of that. thought to be fair, isn't the point of the show the fact that they always get their comeuppance? I also did not watch much but seemed to be the case Pretty much. The only person who things even occasionally work out okay for is Charlie, and that's because he's usually well-intended, just utterly misguided.

Awkward maybe but definitely not unlikable. His heart was truly in the right place and he viewed the Winslow's as a second family to him. Laura was WAY more unlikable than Urkel. I hated her so much and always wanted to see her fail at stuff That's exactly what I am saying. I always felt Eddie and Laura were far more unlikable and treated Urkel like crap for no reason and he still was caring, loyal, and often took the blame for their mess ups so Carl and Harriet wouldn't be upset with them. It was sad that Richie and Carl's mother were the only ones who were nice to him consistently.

It's nice that they get comeuppances, but I really can't watch shows where I hate the entire cast just to see they get what they deserve. It's entirely personal preference, but I have to like at least part of the main cast in order to enjoy something. Same thing with movies, video games, anime, drama, etc.

I know this is about characters, but because the topic was brought up, man I cannot stand Friends. I've tried watching episodes people have suggested to me and they range from me struggling just to get through the episode to just barely passable. One of the most overrated sitcoms I have ever seen.

I hate every single character from King of the Hill. Peggy the most, then Hank, then Bobby. It's a wonder I can ever sit through the show because whenever its on, all Im thinking is "My God I despise you all. There are NO redeeming qualities on my screen!"
Malcolm was the biggest assh^le on the planet.
Jim and Pam got to be unbearable once they were married and had the baby.

F*** Ted Mosby. And JD while we're at it. My college friends loved the show, after a while, I watched only to see the Janitor try to kill him. Janitor's the face right?

Ok not exactly a Sitcom but if Hank Hill and Peter Griffin are getting mentioned, then I thought it would be worth saying.

Couldn't get into The Office because I found the characters off-putting.

Okay, do shows geared towards children count? If so, I am going to say the characters from "Sam & Cat." Now I didn't have a problem with Sam on "iCarly," as while she was a bitch to Freddie for the most part (I still think the part about announcing Freddie having never kissed a girl on the web show was messed up), she had funny moments and was still a good friend to Carly and Freddie, and even Spencer and Gibby. However, even on "iCarly," she did some stuff that she would be arrested for, like assaulting dentists with their equipment. She still had some good moments, though. In "Sam & Cat," however, her bitchiness was amped to 11 and they basically made her into an impossibly tough girl who can even manage to take down MMA fighters, which made me roll my eyes when I saw it. I get that it's part of the fun of the character, and it's all comedy, but I doubt she could knock down a fighter who had spent a lot of time learning techniques and training them with one punch like that.
As for Cat, well I liked her better in the first season of "Victorious." However, as her voice got higher, her intelligence started to lower. Her character was made into a total idiot by the end of "Victorious," and S&C's version of the character was just plain stupid.
Don't get me started on Dice.
While Goomer being a fighter is plain unrealistic considering his intelligence, he DID have some moments. The actor who played him should get more roles, especially in comedy.
Also, Megan in "Drake & Josh." Now before you say that she is the antagonist of the show, yes, I am aware of that. What I don't like is how she'll get away with everything she does to her brothers. Plus, her parents are too stupid to even see that she is evil and will do something to her brothers' cooking that will cause diseases to people. And for what, just to screw her brothers? Plus, how in the hell is she able to afford government-issue stuff like surveillance equipment? At least Angelica in "Rugrats" had a heart sometimes and showed that she can also be an anti-heroine. Sure, Megan may have helped Drake in that episode when he was accused of putting a car in the classroom, but Angelica did more positive things than Megan.

I don't think there's any likable characters main or supporting on Nick sitcoms. iCarly, Drake and Josh, Victorious, Sam and Cat, Zoey101, if Dan Schneider is behind it you know that not one single character on there is likable.

Good point. Although there are redeeming qualities for some characters on Dan Schneider TV shows, a lot of the time there are characters who are annoying or just plain cruel.
