Sami's the faciest of faces, with his music, skanking and general happy outlook, dude's definitely gonna be marketable. And his in ring work will just amplify that. Balor's a sure thing too, good looking, young & a good wrestler. Even got the added "exotic" bonus of being Irish. Once Vince cedes even more control to HHH (assuming that's ever the plan), is the "Irish" thing even going to matter so much anymore? Yeah, we know that Vince and his old man before him both love All Things Irish, but I kind of doubt that HHH cares nearly that much. I meant more for the wimmen folk. I know it's a minority that are drawn in sheerly by the fact there's hot dudes, but more would probably be drawn in by a hot Irish dude.

Are you serious? Kevin Owens doesn NOT have a marketable look. He is good, but he's not the guy to build a company around. I don't think looks or appearances are anywhere near as important as they were in the past. It's more personality, charisma and character now that the fans like. Punk & Bryan didn't have traditional, marketable looks yet both became two of, if not the most over guys in the company. Likewise ADR had a marketable look but nobody gave a toss about him. Owens has the character and personality to connect with the audience, Agree with this, and I also happen think he's a pretty good looking fellow. He's not marketable in that muscled up Adonis way that WWE likes, but it's not like he's some ugly troll that should live under a bridge somewhere because he's so ugly.

How easy did they transition from Austin and Rock onto the next big star as they were done by 2003? They didn't. WWE went downhill from 2002-2005 until they made Cena their next star. In between those 3 years, they just made HHH the top heel and have him defeat countless superstars. They tried to make Brock into "the" star, but he only wrestled for 2 years.

The WWE always does the right thing after trying everything else.
