Amazing show from start to finish.
I thought the first 8 minutes or so of Bayley-Sasha was really sloppy, but man did they pick it up and it became close to perfect by the end. An amazing ride by two great performers.
They made the right choice making them the main event. Nothing could've topped that.

Solid show but the ironman match I just could not get invested the same way as Brooklyn both women of course did great but the match just could not live up to the brooklyn match , fantastic effort but the bar was set too damn high.

Man that timing couldn't have been done better for that finish
I just love the arm catcher/breaker plus kicks to the f***ING head as a finisher. Watching ZSJ use it in BOLA that I just finished watching before Takeover, then this match. My god perfect day off for me

Are all NXT crowds like this??? With only the hard camera angle? It's like they have a person off camera telling the "Sheeple" what lame-o contrived chants to do. "Holy Shit" because of a planca? "This is wrestling" with about 2 mins of actual grappling or subs? NXT feels like a fake, totally manufactured ECW for nerdy , hardcore WWE marks. The crowds are almost as trained as the talent. Unless they bring in Liger etc.. Again, I'll pass on NXT.

Kayfabe wise, why are they giving flowers and gifts to the loser of the match? Yeah I get kind of torn at the end of these NXT womens matches where they negate the characters and just pat each other on the back and smile/cry at each other. They're genuine moments and it's kind of sweet but kind of makes it hard to go back to telling the story that Sasha's a cold bitch afterwards. I agree, it is touching and I do like that they get so much credit, but they had me so sucked into a story, and then the match ends and the story evaporates.

Kayfabe wise, why are they giving flowers and gifts to the loser of the match? It's Sasha's last match in NXT, and this was a big moment. Makes sense to me.

Kayfabe wise, why are they giving flowers and gifts to the loser of the match? Imagine if they only gave them to Sasha but not to Bayley. Have her just standing in the ring looking confused. "Wait, didn't I win?"

While I kind of agree with him, the crowd ain't gonna stop me from watching this kind of awesomeness. Yeah they annoyed me in some parts (and made me smile at others) but come on, it's NXT and it's pure greatness on every other level.

I can't comment on the actual show because I was watching at the same time as my favorite TV Comedies, The Middle, The Goldbergs, Modern Family, & Black-ish. I'm going to re-watch it tomorrow with 100% Focus, but here the facts & stats about the show.
- Finn Balor & Samoa Joe VS Dash & Dawson was Balor’s 4th Takeover in a row, Joe’s 2nd Takeover in a row, Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder’s 1st Takeover event, Balor’s 1st Takeover opener since Unstoppable on May 20, & the 1st time that someone went from the main event of a Takeover to the opener of the next Takeover - Baron Corbin & Rhyno VS Chad Gable & Jason Jordan was Corbin’s 4th Takeover in a row, Rhyno’s 1st Takeover since May 20, & Gable & Jordan’s 1st Takeover - Asuka VS Dana Brooke was Asuka’s NXT debut & Dana’s 1st Takeover since Unstoppable on May 20 - Apollo Crews VS Tyler Breeze was Crews’ 2nd Takeover in a row, Breeze’s 4th Takeover in a row, & the 1st time that Breeze is not in the opener of a Takeover - The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Finals was the 1st time since Hideo Itami & Finn Balor April 8 that someone competed multiple times in NXT & the 1st time since John Cena & Xavier Woods on Raw on September 28 to do that in WWE - Bayley VS Sasha Banks was the 1st Iron Man Match in WWE in 2015, the 8th NXT Women’s Championship Match of 2015, the 1st since NXT Takeover: Brooklyn on August 22, both women’s 4th straight Takeover event, Sasha’s 4th straight Women’s Title Match at a TO, the 2nd time in a row that Sasha competed on Raw & a Takeover event in the same week, the only match on the show to be a re-match, & the 1st match since Sami Zayn VS Kevin Owens at Unstoppable on February 11 & Rivals on May 20 to take place at back-to-back Takeover specials, & is the 1st Takeover since Unstoppable on May 20 to have 2 Diva’s Matches - Takeover: Respect is the 1st Takeover of 2015 to not have a NXT Championship or Tag Team Championship Match, & the 1st one to not feature Wesley Blake, Buddy Murphy, & Kevin Owens

Really good show. Undercard was fun and the main event kicked all sorts of ass. Remembering what you said about the Crews/Breeze finish earlier with a somewhat abrupt finish, I think keeping the midcard matches from having a ton of kickouts and stuff really helps to enhance the main events.

I can appreciate the sentiment of that ending, but this stuff is better when it's kept off the shows. Sure film it, put it on youtube, have Trips take another selfie, do whatever. But leave it off the actual shows.
Remember that video of Miz going backstage after winning the title and everyone is congratulating him. It's fine in that context, but it would have been horrible if the entire locker room suddenly came out to the stage after he'd won.

So, Hunter gives them flowers, because they're girls and girls love flowers.
