I can appreciate the sentiment of that ending, but this stuff is better when it's kept off the shows. Sure film it, put it on youtube, have Trips take another selfie, do whatever. But leave it off the actual shows. Remember that video of Miz going backstage after winning the title and everyone is congratulating him. It's fine in that context, but it would have been horrible if the entire locker room suddenly came out to the stage after he'd won. Triple H should've came out and gave Daniel Bryan flowers at the end of Wrestlemania XXX.

One thing, Sasha audibly submit? Like scream yes or something? The one thing that kinda bugs me is that the ref seemed to go on her nodding when that seemed to be because of the head kicks.

"Hunter, we're GIRLS!" So, Hunter gives them flowers, because they're girls and girls love flowers. Or you know, what they do in Japan.

My 7 year old stepdaughter picked up on this. I just said "she told the ref". When the match ended in Bayley winning, she was quite confused and didn't understand the outcome until the title was handed to Bayley. Then she cheered finally.

Are all NXT crowds like this??? With only the hard camera angle? It's like they have a person off camera telling the "Sheeple" what lame-o contrived chants to do. "Holy Shit" because of a planca? "This is wrestling" with about 2 mins of actual grappling or subs? NXT feels like a fake, totally manufactured ECW for nerdy , hardcore WWE marks. The crowds are almost as trained as the talent. Unless they bring in Liger etc.. Again, I'll pass on NXT. I'm sure that WWE wanted the crowd to chant "Better than Raw!".

It's not just the crowd, the entire package feels overly contrived. The manufactured "moments" don't do it for me either. What seems organic probably took 6 months to plan. It's hard to watch because you can tell what their influences are. It may go over younger fans heads, but Appollo "creed""terry" Crews etc... Isn't getting past someone in their 30s. The product isn't crap, it's just not organic enough for me. Maybe it's just the old man " u kids get off my lawn" in me.

Sasha is holding her hand in that pic. God I love seeing consistent selling..and in this case she doesn't even have to. It's such a rare thing and one of the biggest gripes i have with wrestlers today..they will get worked over the entire match and as soon as it's over they instantly stopped selling. Again, these ladies do the little things right..which makes everything so much better.

Great show. Not a stinker on the card and even underestimated guys like Corbin, Jordan, and Dana Brooke had a really good showing. Everyone looked strong in defeat as cliche as that is to say lately. Gable f***ing shined. That needs to be reiterated.

I was wondering that myself. WWE put the closing moments of the match on its Facebook page and, after watching it several times, I'm still not sure what they were going for with that ending. You can hear Sasha screaming; I guess we're supposed to accept it as the referee hearing her give up. Even more odd is that almost immediately after, the announcers said that Sasha tapped out. Which would be impossible since Bayley had both arms trapped.

Really good show. Undercard was fun and the main event kicked all sorts of ass. Remembering what you said about the Crews/Breeze finish earlier with a somewhat abrupt finish, I think keeping the midcard matches from having a ton of kickouts and stuff really helps to enhance the main events. Yeah, I agree. In a way, it's annoying because some matches end before it feels like they should but at the same time, I understand the rational behind it and it is better than a match wearing out it's welcome by going too long.

If Sasha/Bayley didn't warm the cockles of your calloused heart, I just can't see eye to eye with ya. I get irritated with the chants too though. Some of them are very clever, but there's just so many of them.

I for one am SHOCKED.

I guess as far as the chants go, I didn't mind it personally. I would rather have a crowd chanting different things and be into the match than have a Raw crowd where half of them seem so bored that you end up feeling bad for them. I don't know, I can see both sides to it and all, but it's hardly a dealbreaker.
