If Bischoff was smart he would've offered McMahon millions of dollars to show up and have a pull apart fight. Have McMahon come to the ring surrounded by his security and hell maybe even his lawyer trying to talk him out of it. Once he walked out have the arena security come out and surround the ring. A worked shoot promotional angle between WWF and WCW late 90s would've drawn MAJOR business!! Something like 12 Million people a week were watching either Raw or Nitro. If they booked it as real I think it could've been an angle that would've lasted for years and created an entire new landscape for the industry. It would never have worked for one simple reason: neither company would've accepted losing the feud. Vince would never have let any WCW guys go over his guys, and Bisch would never have let any WWF guys go over any of his guys.

Bisch would never have let any WWF guys go over any of his guys. Unless he thought he could sign them to absurdly overinflated deals then he'd let them hit their finishers on the future of his company and win in a sixty second squash, heck, he'd even let them hit 'em on their wives and kids too if he thought it would seal the deal.

Vince always reminded me of one of those kids we all knew in school, the kid who will claim that he can kick anybodies ass, but when push goes to shove, he runs away. When I heard that Vince told Jericho that he should have fought Micky Rourke's security guards and that Vince would join in the fight to help Jericho, it made me realize that Vince has a lot more bark than bite.
Vince would have got his ass kicked my Eric. I just wish he would have not made the excuse that Stephine was graduating college, he should have been honest and say that he does not want the WCW to make a penny off of him for the PPV replays.

Which is a different situation altogether.
