www.gerweck.net/2015/10/02/wwe-loses-hornswoggle-trademark-new-trademarks-revealed/– WWE recently applied for a general trademark for the name Asuka, which is the former Kana in NXT. They also filed for a “Seth Rollins” trademark for merchandise use. WWE recently abandoned these trademarks with the reason, “ABANDONED – FAILURE TO RESPOND TO LATE RESPONSE” – Eve Torres, Naomi, Just Bring It, Stardust and Lunatic Fringe. WWE recently abandoned the following trademarks with the reason, “CONTINUED USE NOT FILED WITHIN GRACE PERIOD, UN-REVIVABLE” – Cryme Tyme, WWE HD, WWEHD, WWEShop, Candice Michelle and Hornswoggle.

Time to open my own WWEShop and start my own WWE HD channel.
Also, Candice Michelle is now mine.

I don't really know what this means; so "Lunatic Fringe" isn't trademarked? So an indie wrestler could call himself that?

Serious question, can someone purchase the trademark "Just Bring It" and therefore make the WWE purchase the rights to use that on TV, website or WWE Network?

Ambrose got that name from a radio station so that makes sense.

No, that's getting paid for something you own. The WWE did not renew the trademark. The do not own it but would look to profit from that trademark, which could technically be owned by someone else. Right?

If anyone can see an Ambrose rebound clothesline coming, it's WWE management.

Somebody trademark Stardust as fast as humanly possible to try and force them to drop it. Pleeeeease?

Somebody trademark Stardust as fast as humanly possible to try and force them to drop it. Pleeeeease? That's not going to work. They'll just remove all references to the Stardust name and Cody will still be a painted freak. He just won't be called "Stardust" anymore. Or if Anything, they'll just carry on because they know the person who buys the trademark for that reason won't have the nerve and/or means to actually "do something about it" if they kept Stardust as is.

I'm not sure how they thought they could trademark Lunatic Fringe. Isn't that a Red Rider song?
