I disagree. They chanted that for a reason. People are just tired of Big Show at this point. Much respect for his talent, but he's just been around too long and his constant presence as a featured top talent is detrimental to upward mobility for newer talents (unless you're a pet project getting a rocket push). Lots of fans resent that.

He's lucky he's still in a job and being paired with the second-biggest star in wrestling at the expense of someone who could have used the boost. Don't feel sorry for him.

I read the title of this thread right as he got nutted in his latest film, Vendetta.
Poor Big Show indeed. His nuts hurt.

I really hope WWE finally start listening to the fans and realise everybody is sick of Big Show and give him a diminished role.
Just make him someone's bodyguard as the sort of #2 boss that the face needs to get past. He can just hang around at ringside causing distractions and joining in on beatdowns and very rarely, step into the ring to wrestle whoever the heel is feuding with or in tag matches.

Show seemed like he was being written off a month ago and then he was forced back into the spotlight just to lose to Lesnar, the fact they fed Cesaro to him didn't help either.
Show already lost to Lesnar at RR 2014, I'd rather have him against Orton or Sheamus if you need a big name guy.

I kind of feel a bit bad for him. Like, he obviously still wants to be there, and he's really under no obligation to just stop and quit just because (non-specific) you want that younger guy to get pushed instead. That's not his responsibility. He's entitled to try and make a living just like the rest of them. Yet, because of bad booking that is plaguing the whole roster up and down the card, male AND female, he's been made into some sort of pariah. Same thing with Kane. I guess them's the breaks with being the only visible part of the medium that crowds can react to. I mean, they're never going to send Dunn out there, or some guy on the writing team.
It's easy to say, "Oh, he'll be fine, he'll find another job real quick", and yes, he probably can. But it's the principle of the matter. It shouldn't be up to the talent himself to force progress by getting out of the way, just because the owner and his writing team are reluctant to do so.

He's got the Bossman and X-Pac heat. The "yes you're a heel and we dislike you" heat, but also the "GTFO we don't want you here anymore die" heat. That's a bad thing.
Turn him face. He's saved in some regards and people typically do like his face material. However he's also a good heel, knows what to do and make the general heat he needs work to his advantage, so you do lose that.
It's a tricky case. He's good in both roles yet the fans really are tired of him. Keep him a pointless taking-someone-younger's spot role too long and they might still dislike him this much if he's a face.

Acts in entertainment have shelf lives, and Kane and Big Shows have long, long, long since expired. This is like Greg Valentine in big angles in 2002 WWF. It's not natural and it's a sign of creative stagnation. A circus managed by the same guiding principles as an accounting firm is pretty goddamn boring to watch week in, week out.

I don't know why, I think it might be because he is an excellent actor (for a wrestler) but when Brock came back out to beat on Show some more, I felt so damn sorry for Big Show. Show's face was a mixture of hurt, humiliation, sadness, regret, fear. He needs to stay with WWE, but can we get him on commentary or something? He's a fantastic personality, I just do not want to see him wrestle anymore.

I just hate that they tried to sell that rivalry as epic when if took all of 5 minutes for Brock to beat Show. He's been on TV too long. I don't buy him as a face or a heel anymore. Let him be a bodyguard but stop featuring him so much. He's had his time, give that spot to someone new.

Big Show/Giant was stale in 1997, yet he's still employed by the biggest wrestling promotion in the world in 2015.
Not going to feel bad for him.

I don't feel bad for Big Show. He should be savagely beaten every show he's on, left laying, pinned by everyone who works for WWE. He and Kane are actively ruining the current product and deserve to have any last big of heat they have squeezed out of them, then sent back behind the shed like Ric Flair.

There was a period of time in WWECW where I thought he was really awesome for the first time in years.
Lately though, having him go over midcarders who actually DO have a future? mmmmm nahhhhhhh

It's strange. Fans respect Big Show, but they want to see something fresh.
