RAW is live from the WHALE'S VAGINA - San Diego, CA, where we're now on the road to the Survivor Series on November 22nd. And we'll be on this road without John Cena...
We have a NEW WWE United States Champion, as ALBERTO DEL RIO is back in the WWE, with Zeb Colter in tow no less (complete with mobility scooter), and last night at Hell in a Cell, Del Rio polished off John Cena in under EIGHT MINUTES to win the title. So how will Cena's absence be explained? And what's exactly up with Del Rio and Colter's relationship, given Colter tried to deport Del Rio from the United States a couple of years ago...
Brock Lesnar won the rivalry with The Undertaker, giving him an F5 onto exposed boards in a brutal Hell in a Cell match. Once the Beast departed, The Undertaker came to his feet and went to salute the fans, only for the Wyatt Family to ambush the Deadman, and then abduct him. Survivor Series is being billed as the 25th anniversary of The Undertaker, so with four men in the Wyatt Family, will three men rally to be on Taker's side?
Bray Wyatt had earlier been defeated in another Hell in a Cell match by Roman Reigns, and Reigns has officially drawn a line in that war. He and Dean Ambrose teased a new direction for tonight - will they side with The Undertaker, or do they have something else in mind?
Seth Rollins is still the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and as a result, Corporate Kane is no longer the Director of Operations. Rollins would like to think this whole Kane thing is done with, and he'll move on to a new opponent. But all this has seemingly done has taken away the less threatening of the two Kane personas...
The three other company titles were all retained - The New Day saw off the Dudley Boyz, even without Xavier Woods, to keep the WWE Tag Team Titles, so is that it for Bubba Ray and D-Von? Charlotte submitted Nikki Bella once again to retain the Divas Championship, and Team PCB seemingly reunited to congratulate her, but Paige tried really hard to keep Becky Lynch out of the proceedings. And Kevin Owens once again defeated Ryback to hold onto his Intercontinental Title.
All this, and likely the RAW return of Tyler Breeze (he was in an NXT exhibition tag team match over a year ago)... tonight on USA Network from 8/7c, and from MIDNIGHT this week in the UK due to the change in daylight savings!
