Yeah, if I ever play Fallout 4, I'm likely going to side with the Railroad (and maybe play the Minutemen story once). Lately, the Brotherhood of Steel, outside of Lyon's Pride from Fallout 3 and the Texas chapter (though all Fallout fans know that the Brotherhood of Steel shoot-em-up game is widely discredited), has basically been nothing but xenophobic, techno hoarders, which in storyline sense, would suggest an inevitable downfall of the faction due to their refusal to change or open up as a whole, but from a gameplay standpoint, it makes me want to not want to help them out anymore, even if... {Spoiler}it means doing away with Liberty Prime once and for all. And, obviously, the Institute is basically your "slavers" ending for the people, in spite of the fact that {Spoiler}your dad is the leader of the faction. As you can probably guess, I play with a specific moral compass in Fallout.

I just Platinumed the game. The Benevolent Leader achievement was ridiculous to get.

Ive just flat out refused to do anymore progress in the story, as I dont know who to side with at this point: BOS: tech robbing thieves racists (imo) Institute: Body snatchers Railroad : Idiots. The Railroad may be idiots, but they still have good intentions. The Institute have good intentions as well. Heck, so do the Brotherhood of Steel. No matter which way you look at it--any choice you make involves slaughtering some genuinely good people mixed in with some evil ones. Essentially the story is about picking the lesser of several evils. I don't dislike the main story for this fact. I dislike the main story for giving the player very little ability to have nuance when dealing with issues.

I topped out at 86% with Spectacle Island and that's with over 200 defense, over 80 water, over 50 food and all 6 stores in emporium mode. also, if Theodore Collins offers you a can of potted meat, DO NOT EAT IT!

I read the best way to do benevolent leadership is to have a sparsely populated, small settlement and just waiting a long time. The big ones tend to have problems due to random settlers not getting jobs (that's my issue with Sanctuary Hills, some settlers just won't work).

So what does everyone hope the DLC will have? Fallout games usually have some of the better dlc. I hope you get chance to return to the Capital Wasteland since it was referenced a lot in this game

Start with an empty settlement. Take one of the small settlements like Red Rocket and spam-build it up until it gets to large size. Put one sleeping bag (must be under a roof), enough food and water to not be red (either stored, or by supply line), enough defense to cover that. Build one bar. Move one settler in, and assign him to the bar. Wait.

I hope you get chance to return to the Capital Wasteland since it was referenced a lot in this game I really hope they make it work with the regular game. I found it rather annoying in New Vegas that the DLC quests were essentially completely separate from the main game and basically forced you to stop everything else dead in its tracks so you can do that. I wasn't fond of having to leave most of my equipment behind either.

Two things on my wishlist for DLC are (1) turning the the Minutemen/Gunners dispute into a proper story line, and (2) many, many more pieces for settlement building. Preferably some pieces that will allow settlements to not look like thrown together garbage.

So I just found out the Behemoth near the Corvega Assembly Plant actually re-spawns. I was a bit surprised, considering how many sites claimed that Behemoths (and Queen Mirelurks) do not re-spawn.
Also, I'm glad I somehow missed the thing during the "First Step" quest.

![](http://i.imgur.com/MtdVUO8.jpg) My girl has been through a lot in the Commonwealth... and it shows. I went from being a woman out of time to a chem popping, beer drinking, shotgun wielding, lone wanderer mercenary that works for the Institute. I've become Kellogg. f***.

My dude's gone from a clean shaven, short haired dude to a whiskey swilling, long haired dude wearing a beret, sunglasses & an armoured trench-coat who shoots first and asks questions later. Ironically, my main weapon is actually Kellogg's .44 repurposed for my own means.

my dude came out of the freeze looking like Captain America with questionable facial hair. now he... looks mostly the same, but with a ponytail, an irish beer tattoo on his face and.. slightly less questionable facial hair. numerous three-ways with Piper and Cait. he doesn't seem too broken up about his wife anymore and shot his son in the face at the first opportunity, too. So I just found out the Behemoth near the Corvega Assembly Plant actually re-spawns. I was a bit surprised, considering how many sites claimed that Behemoths (and Queen Mirelurks) do not re-spawn. Also, I'm glad I somehow missed the thing during the "First Step" quest. oh Mirelurk Queens definitely re-spawn. I went back to check on my then-new settlement at Murkwater Constrution Site only to see another giant-ass mirelurk come out of nowhere... and get mowed down by the numerous turrets and heavily armed settlers crawling all over the place.

I decided to change my character; she's now a cross between my Mass Effect 3 FemShep and my earlier character, sporting Elder Maxson's Battlecoat. my dude came out of the freeze looking like Captain America with questionable facial hair. now he... looks mostly the same, but with a ponytail, an irish beer tattoo on his face and.. slightly less questionable facial hair. numerous three-ways with Piper and Cait. he doesn't seem too broken up about his wife anymore and shot his son in the face at the first opportunity, too. That's awesome. I actually want to head back there now, if only to see how the Caretaker handles one. Also: I searched the area around Gunners Plaza, and sure enough, that Behemoth re-spawned. I'm actually pleased to know the information I received was inaccurate, because having my character destroy these large monsters is great.

So I've gotten to the point where enemies will now attempt to flee during combat, which has resulted in some amusing events. Most notably, an intimated Raider tried to cut losses and escape. Unfortunately, they forget we were on top of a fairly tall building, so their attempt at retreat wasn't very successful. Can't believe i didn't mention it before but mirelurks do not f*** around in this game. I'm playing on survival difficulty and a razorclaw one hit killed me Man, I hated Mirelurks toward the beginning. And Radscorpions. The resistance, damage, and radiation were all a bitch. Speaking of tough enemies, has anyone encountered the Chameleon Deathclaw? Is it anywhere near as terrifying as the concept sounds?

Mirelurks are bastards. They just take so much damage.
Anyway, my most recent thing has been shouting enemies down and making them surrender. It's pretty fun, even if I do just shoot them afterwards.
