Was just reading, there's a plaque dedicated to deceased veterans in-game that mentions Anchorage, Iwo Jima and the Sea of Tranquillity, which some people believe means we're getting a moon DLC.

So how much is your character bound by this whole wife and kid backstory? (No spoilers, just in general)

Just to let peeps know there is a major bug where if you make a second character they will get stuck inside the vault very early on. The fix is to restart the game/machine/console to get it working again.

Quality game so far, I'm about 17 hours in and just about to do the quest to find that detective.
Anyway, loving the exploration, loving the new customisation, love the fact you can name your weapons, the quests have all been great, love the change for power armoud needing fusion cores to operate and been more like an Iron Man suit and Codsworth is an amazing companion.
Don't like, the "base/dwelling structure building" aspect seems to have very little purpose, the fact you acquire power armour very early on, the limit of just one companion (yeah, having many makes it too easy. But I loved having a close-knit team of allies to wander the wasteland with) and the some of the game's changes nhave no explanation in game how they work (I've had to go online to find how to rest, get out of the power suit and repair weapons).

(I've had to go online to find how to rest, get out of the power suit and repair weapons). Speaking of weapons, do you have any idea how to use mods? I can craft using the workbench but I have ready-made ones that I'd like to use but I have no idea how it works.

I got the game for PS4 today. Really satisfied so far:
-No bugs/glitches to announce thankfully. -VIRTUALLY NO LOADING TIMES! I think I've had to deal with a loading screen for no more than like 3 seconds. It's amazing how quick it is. -Enemies aren't just mindless dunderheads shooting at random. Got blown up by a grenade because of that. -Dialogue system is kinda iffy, but I'm glad it's in real time and feels much more fluid than 3/New Vegas. -The environment is gorgeous. It's not Skyrim-level impressive I think but they really stepped their game up for this one.

I don't think you need to repair weapons anymore? Unless it's tied to a difficulty? That's what I thought.

I assumed it was just a blueprint so you could craft them once you get the materials you need but maybe I'm completely wrong with that.

I got this game yesterday and have played a bit. I enjoy it, but it deficinitely feels different from the previous series.
If there's one thing I've taken from it thus far, f*** feral ghouls. Seriously, they're a hundred times worse in this game than they were in 3 and New Vegas.

Which is honestly a relief. It really makes collecting materials so much easier when you don't have to carry twenty of the same gun all the time.

It does feel a bit weird though not having to pick up the same guns anymore to have plenty for repairs. Still haven't gotten use to that feeling.

So I'm about 15 hours in. ive done next to nothing in the main story... Only just getting to Diamond City before wandering off.
Right now I'm in the process of turning the Red Rocket Station just outside of Sanctuary into my own personal palace. I already have a few buildings stacked on top of each other on top of the station, and plan to keep stacking and adding every time I return with a new haul of scrap.
Have I mentioned, I am in video game heaven? I love this game!

I'm gonna abandon my Diamond City house and do the same. That's awesome.

I found out you can stack things when I accidentally put a Sanctuary citizens bed on the roof of a house.
