Triple H is backed by Vince's unlimited funds to build the best facilities and hire every single Indy darling from around the world. People are acting like he build it up not under under the WWE banner without Vince's funds to where it is today. No, they aren't. NXT is praised for its booking, not for being built without WWE funding.

NXT is run at a loss at present, so it's not exactly a fountain of reserves that Trips is working with here, but he's made it work due to sensible territory style booking and creating names both from the indies and in-house like Enzo Amore, Dana Brooke and Chad Gable.

So if I'm understanding your argument: NXT is not impressive because Triple H has money and is using it to sign great talent?

So are we not supposed to like NXT because it has Vince funding. Umm so what?
NXT is an example of how to do things right for people just starting in the business and learning that WWE style. As someone said earlier Dana Brooke is an example of a person who was green but she's finding her niche and slowly getting her critics off her back.
I didn't even go into detail about the presentation of the product and storylines that makes sense which has compelling matches attached to them.

You guys are missing the logic, here.
Hipsters like NXT.
Hipsters hate all "mainstream" things.
Therefore, NXT fans must be hilariously deluded about NXT!!!!
I mean, it's the same reason why people who drink organic coffee are huge hypocrites for shaving their moustaches.

I'm not fussed that my money is still going to Vince. I'm satisfied with the goods and services I get for the amount of money I'm spending on said goods and services.

What even is this thread. No one ever talked about NXT as a start up company or anything of the sort. This is a made up issue that no one was bragging about.
Trying too hard to hate something.

When WWE is good, we're happy. However, it never seems to last.
NXT has been good for so long, with very few missteps, so it's hard not to get behind it. They take risks with their booking, if it pays off.. they go with it, if it doesn't.. they stop, change direction, and try something else. Granted, it's the luxury of developmental where it'd be very difficult to do the same thing on the main roster.... but still, it feels as though NXT works to make everything entertaining and they put an investment in everybody on the roster. The main roster seems to pick two or three guys, work on them.. then fill time with everyone else.
Hell, we had a f***ing awesome match on the show between Finn Balor and Apollo Crews, two faces. Although the ending was f***ed, it still set up something for the long term with Samoa Joe's heel turn and got fans salivating over the Balor/Joe feud while giving Crews Baron Corbin in the meantime. The main roster booking seems to be. 1) get a number one contender 2) tag matches until the ppv 3) repeat

It's not just the indy stars that make it good. Dana Brooke is pretty much the anti-indy star, she's new to wrestling and started off rather painfully green, but thanks to good booking and good training her mini-feud with Asuka has been far more compelling than the Bella drama on the main show, and she's becoming really entertaining as a character and in the ring. And that's just one example. Pretty much everyone has their strengths played to and it leads to an excellent show. hell one of the most over tag teams consist of a hoss and a person who has only ever wrestled in the WWE system. Gable actually did work a few indies, but he was signed pretty much after just a few months in the business.

But Gable and Jordan are another good example of not only hiring indy stand outs.

Seriously, I was on YouTube for most of yesterday watching his amateur stuff, interviews and what little bit of his indie work is on there.
