I agree. He should of been given a little more time to attempt to recover but at the end of the day there's no controversy to be had. He got caught and was looking like he was about to get demolished though he was saved from said demolishment. He probably realized how badly he screwed up the Weidman fight and it made him much quicker on the jump for the main. He's already about to face the media firing squad as it is. Rightfully so. You do realize there's other refs than Herb Dean? Herb Dean, who did the Weidman vs Rockhold fight, is skinny, black and has dreadlocks. Big John, who did the Conor vs Aldo fight, is big, white and has a short haircut.

The anime and manga series One Punch Man, about a superhero named Saitama(who is the guy with Conor's head in that pic) who is so strong he can defeat ANYTHING with just one punch.

Yeah he has the best techniques, and is a machine, and a definite hall of famer, it's just that the guy couldn't draw flies to a shit factory. I hope that changes.

Personally, I would put either Dillashaw or Lawler atop the list depending on how they fare in their title matches against Dominick Cruz and Carlos Condit respectively.

I disagree, Johnson's reign is longer and has cleared his division, his reign could be compared to that of GSP or Silva's, TJ and Robbie only have two defenses, Mighty Mouse has much more.

The Herb Dean stand-up in the Weidman/Rockhold fight, IMO, was fine. Neither man could effectively advance their position and wasn't trying to for 10-15 seconds. It was a dead end.
The non-stoppage at the end of the third was more questionable. Weidman turtled as soon as Luke got top position. Weidman was trying to defend himself, but it didn't seem like intelligent defense.
A ref's always going to be criticized if it isn't 100% certain. Heck, Aldo stiffened up and some people here are saying Big John should have given him a few more seconds. Herb Dean's a good ref and will continue to be a good ref.

He has a bit of cockiness to him especially after the last fight. I'd let him play that up more since fans don't like him anyway. Like you said great with technique and is a machine but he's drawing power is shit despite how great he is.

The match basically sells itself, never did two best friends ever had such a fallout, they were best friends, Urijah recruited TJ right out of college. TJ lived under Urijah's roof, Faber also fed him. When he lost to Barao, Urijah bowed out and graciously put over TJ as the future, he was content with letting TJ have the spotlight...but TJ broke the cardinal rule of mma, he talked about beating Urijah in training, and basically insulted the man who helped him.

Conor only had one less fight in the UFC than Jose even though Jose debuted like two years before him

He's the guy who let Josh Koscheck get stuck in a choke until he was literally foaming at the mouth earlier this year.

Herb Dean let Chris Weidman receive more than 30 unanswered strikes, to the point where blood was flowing everywhere, Weidman didn't knew where he was.

Now TJ has got to go through trying to be the man in his own camp on the fly. He's going to see shit isn't as easy as it may seemed despite how talented he is.
