It's been made official, Naito's 1st defense will come at Dontaku against Ishii and Okada gets his chance at revenge against Sanada as well as perhaps the final chapter of Liger's career being finished as he goes against Kushida.
Hinokuni will be highlighted by Michael Elgin challenging for The IC Belt against Kenny Omega and Shibata finishing his feud with the Third Generation as he battles Yuji Nagata for his 4th NEVER Defense.

Very cool, it is also Elgin's first title in New Japan I believe, hope they hold onto it for a while. Considering they're the 5th champions in the titles 4 month history, I can't see them holding them too long. I don't know what the long term plan is for these belts, but right now they seem really, really pointless. I feel like the belts are there so Gedo can change them so often that we forget about the hot potato booking of the Jr. belts.

Is there a huge trio in njpw that you would build the titles around?

Is there a huge trio in njpw that you would build the titles around? They could focus on the current champions, since Tanahashi could elevate it. The Elite would be good if Omega didn't hold the IC Title. Maybe Sanada, EVIL and BUSHI?

New Japan has released a DVD chronicling the Bullet Club, from its formation up to now and featuring interviews with members.

Got to finish watching it last night, quick thoughts:
-I had said after an earlier show that I didn't realize how much I want to see Goto vs. EVIL, and now we're getting it, so I'm pretty happy.
-Almost every match on this card was rock solid, and got you pretty invested in the outcome, kudos all around.
-So glad they're saving Shibata vs. Nagata for last in this "Fight the Third Generation" storyline.
-I don't have a problem with the Trios belts jumping around so much; psychologically speaking it kind of makes sense, since having six guys in the ring makes it tougher to have continuity, and more things can happen/go wrong that make it hard to control the outcome, so frequent title changes aren't terribly shocking.
-Ricochet isn't human. With his athleticism he's like a metahuman in NJPW, and he's Prince freakin' Puma in LU. So bummed that it seems like he's heading to WWE, but hopefully he gets to fulfill his dream and also make a buttload of money.
-KUSHIDA is an ace, and Osprey freaking arrived on this show, he'll be a mainstay there if he wants to be.
-Elgin/Omega sounds great.
-No problem with Tanahashi and Fale going at it again, love it when those two fight, great chemistry.
-A little surprised at GoD winning the tag belts already, but I'd like to see more of them and see what else they can do as a team.
-LOS! New top heel arrives, Sanada was a complete shock, and now we've got the storyline that likely leads to Okada having to fight through G1 to get a chance at regaining the title. Meanwhile Ingobernables run wild and absolutely desecrate NJPW in a manner worse than Bullet Club even managed.

Just a heads up, in case you missed it, but Goto wrestled EVIL back at Power Struggle. I believe the upcoming match will be better sinc eEVIL has been doing really well lately, but it's worth checking out.
