Dumb question but who is Juices partner? Yujiro Takahashi, the Japanese Miz. Although I think Miz is better in the ring. Though I don't see why they're teaming together. EDIT: I just noticed that it's a typo. Well, maybe Yujiro vs Yujiro will be the first time he's entertaining. I stand by everything else I posted.

Must be working towards that dome match with Naito.

Yujiro is actually pretty good, but this character run its course a LONG time ago.
He should admit that he would only follow a champion better than himself and switch to LIdJ.

Argh! A concert I want to attend was announced, but when I look up the calendar it turns out to be on the same time as the G1 Climax Finals that I had thoughts of going to...

I love Elgin as some sort of Young Bucks killer. The sequence in the Six Man where he caught Nick? mid 450 in the Meltzer Driver, and just powerbombed him outside the ring was awesome.

Miz > Yujiro in every single way. Takahashi is the one dude (along with the Young Bucks) that has never entertained me in NJPW. His matches were better a few years back but not by much.

I don't know why people on reddit get so butthurt when I said that Itami vs Nakamura is not a main event match worthy for the wwe to rent the Tokyo Dome
The wwe will not rent an stadium unless they could fill it, and an NXT show will not do that. Even NJPW cat do that now, and KENTA wasn't a draw that was setting the world on fire on NOAH either

Nakamura/Cena (probably the likelist for sellout)& Nakamura/AJ (been done before and AJ himself is a proven draw in Japan) are 2 i can think of

Nakamura/Cena or Nakamura/Styles would not sell out the Tokyo Dome. With all do respect to Nak/AJ and it is not a slight against them because they're awesome, they just ran this match at the Dome as the co-main and it helped draw a pedestrian 25,000 (25 is still substantial, but then you factor the venue size + prior attendance)
A sell out would be anywhere from 50,000 to 55,000 depending on config.
WWE would be absolutely thrilled to get 30,000.
When it comes to drawing in Japan, WWE are not miles and miles ahead of NJPW. They're slightly ahead, but not that far. For reference: WWE did 8,500 at Ryogoku last year and last week NJPW just did 9,000. I would expect WWE to put similar numbers in the Dome as NJPW would, and NJPW hasn't sold out the Dome since the late 90's.

The match would be awesome but it wouldn't be a sellout at all. You're going to need Big Match Jhon in there for your best bet, and while that wouldn't be guaranteed or even all that likely, I would love to see him main eventing the Tokyo Dome.

Could a WWE vs. NJPW Supercard sell out the dome?

I don't know what would sell-out the Tokyo Dome at this point.

Yeah, wrestling wise, bar a Wrestlemania, nothing would sell out the Dome nowadays.

Killer Elite Squad made their 9th successful defense of The GHC Tag Titles yesterday at House of Hardcore, defeating Tommy Dreamer and Rhino to retain the gold

Not sure how much this will effect his NJPW commitments but I was live at Rev Pro Epic Encounter tonight and Ospreay didn't worship match with Elgin (Ricochet was his replacement)
Hopefully it's just short-term recovery after the hectic past few weeks he has had and not long term

I don't know why people on reddit get so butthurt when I said that Itami vs Nakamura is not a main event match worthy for the wwe to rent the Tokyo Dome It's something you see in a lot of places. I've seen multiple people suggest that Asuka was as big of a star in Japan as Nakamura. I can't really blame people for that, it's sometimes easy to forget that Japanese wrestling is still extremely niche in the English speaking wrestling world. Is WWE really ahead at all now? (strictly within Japan, of course WWE is way ahead globally) WWE benefits from barely doing any live events in Japan and in recent years has struggled to fill Sumo Hall using a smaller configuration at Sumo Hall (about 6,500 according to Meltzer) even with heavy papering (although it doesn't sound like they'll need to paper the crowd this year to be fair).
