I like Miles Teller from Whiplash, but I don't understand why the big studios seem so interested in him for hero action star roles.

Disney is narrowing down it's choices for a Young Han who may make a cameo in Rouge One before his own movie. zthe list includes Miles Teller (Whiplash), Ansel Elgort (The Fault in our Stars), Dave Franco (Neighbors), Jack Reynor (Transformers 4), Scott Eastwood (Suicide Squad), Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson), Emory Cohen (Brooklyn) and Blake Jenner (Glee). variety.com/2016/film/news/star-wars-han-solo-spinoff-actors-1201675519/Damn. I don't care for any of those.

Ugh, please no Han cameo in Rogue One. Part of Han's appeal is how distant he was from the Empire/Rebellion conflict and then how deep he got thrown into it just because he agreed to transport an old wizard and a whiny farm kid to a dead planet.

I think it would be amusing if Han's cameo is just him talking shit to the crew about how dumb they are to get involved and how he'll never be stupid enough to risk himself for something he'll get nothing out of. Maybe have him make a snarky remark about how young some of the main characters are and how they're exhibit A for why he'll never have kids. "Kids would be the death of me."
Something to introduce the new actor and create some dramatic irony.

Are they really gonna put Miles Teller in Star Wars?
I have a hard time with Miles Teller when he's not being bashed in the face (as in Detergent:Insurgent)

If they put Miles Teller in it, they should hire JK Simmons to follow him around the whole movie and just yell derogatory and condescending things at him.

Isn't the point of a spin-off that it spins... off? Away from? That it takes place in the same universe but isn't predicated upon having primary characters from one story be involved? Does Han Solo have to be in Rogue One? Han Solo? More like, Han, no no.

Can we make a counter-petition? In the time they got 20 thousand signatures, we'd probably get 20 million.

I think the son of Clint Eastwood seems like a logical choice Eastwood seems the best pick of a bad bunch. That's because the best choice to be Han is too old, and is busy hanging out with Batista, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel in the MCU, and being around dinosaurs. The only guy who would fit perfectly is Chris Pratt, but he's too old and his schedule is kind of full.
