So, really, even though his lifestyle was catching up to him, that didn't take him out

So, really, even though his lifestyle was catching up to him, that didn't take him out My grandfather had a similar lifestyle - for 25 years he drank Guinness and whiskey from morning until night, smoked like a chimney, and rarely ate. He died suddenly of pneumonia, and the pathologist remarked that his liver was in excellent condition. It's surprising at just how much punishment some people can inflict on their bodies and still remain relatively undamaged.

So, really, even though his lifestyle was catching up to him, that didn't take him out Nope, it took an extremely aggravated version of cancer in order to kill Lemmy, because regular cancer wasn't strong enough to do the job.

Lemmy's funeral is now live I don't know what surprises me more about watching the live stream of Lemmy Kilmister's memorial service. Watching Lemmy's son give a eulogy for his dad, as I didn't know Lemmy had a son. Or that there isn't a 75 person long line of Lemmy kids a la "Screaming" Jay Hawkins.

I knew that he had a son because of the Lemmy documentary. Seemed obvious how fond they were of one another, especially considering how late in the kid's life Lemmy got involved.

The "Everything Louder Than Everything Else" double live album is the first Motorhead album I ever owned and I loved Scott Ian's contribution to the liner notes.

I loved his description of coming out for WrestleMania XXI. I saw that clip on the WWE Network's tribute to Lemmy and it's just such a beautifully over the top moment.

I hope they keep it up as I want to see Dave Grohl again, or at least a transcript if they can't fix the audio-especially whatever he said about Little Richard-I have that same picture he does from when I got to meet him years ago
Is this the first time a memorial has been streamed like that?

Had an uncle who smoked for 60 yrs , wasnt cancer but heart attack that got him.....he still lived to 74. Lesley Gores death was much more shocking cuz it came out of the blue , also rockers are known to stretch the rubber band to the max with drugs and booze.

I was wondering how they would handle that at the Rainbow. I sort of expect them to leave his favorite spot open and keep that arcade machine going so that people can play the same as Lemmy did.
