What about Boris Alexiev? I wanted them to do an angle where he hit his head and thought he was that character (again). Especially when Vladimir Kozlov was on the main roster and they signed Alex Koslov to FCW. It could have been a new version on The Koloffs and Krushchev.

It's always bothered me that every Russian character's surname ends in -off or -ov. Just thinking through some famous Russians, last names ending in -sky or-in work just fine.

If you want to get technical, there's not a single Russian on that list. so by default I guess it goes to Anya from NXT Kozlov was born in the Soviet Union does that count?

UNCLE IVAN!
MONTREAL WRESTLING, f*** YEAH! Being a fan and product of Montreal Wrestling, I'll say we don't get our due when great territories are mentioned.
Ivan asides, gotta go with Nikita in terms of embodying that Cold War spirit the best. There was nothing likeable about the guy, and he was a big threatening bastard, which was the perfect partner for small and old Ivan, when he came in. Not the greatest in the ring, but he wasn't trained to be and he didn't need to be, the guys he would wrestle could more than cover for it.
Rusev winning the world title and having a good reign would bring him into the discussion. Entering Wrestlemania riding a tank (With his trophy wife carrying the title leading the way) is the stuff of legend.
Volkoff was such shit in the ring. We remember him because he was in the WWF at the right time. He made an appropriate partner for the aging Iron Sheik. His personal history is interesting though.
Zhukov and Kozlov were total non-factors. Zhukov was used so that they could use Volkoff's schtick without exposing him badly as a singles wrestler, and Kozlov was a total bust. His career highlight was the tea party with Santino.
