1)Roman Reigns and Rusev last years final 2, drew 1 and 2 this year. This is the second time this has happened (Undertaker and HBK in 07/08) 2)This is the 3rd time the number 30th entrant won. one shy of the record. and now more coveted than the number one spot so next years by the numbers video will now have to change 3) This was HHH's 4th final two appearance the others being in 02,08,09. This ties John Cena (05,08,10,13) for most all time. 4) Kane increased his all time elimination record by eliminating 2 people (I think) 5) Rusev drew number 2 and was the first one eliminated. keeping up with the trend that the first competitor to be eliminated has either drawn the numbers 1,2,3 or 5.

By being entered in the Rumble this year, this marked the first time in Goldust's 21-year WWE career that he has had a World Title shot on a Pay-Per-View.

Not sure if this is an official one, but considering that Dvon Dudley didn't enter the Rumble again this year, is he the longest tenured member of a main roster to never have competed in a Royal Rumble match?
The guy has had a 8 year WWF/E career and never been in the Rumble

8 years? I thought it was 6 (1999-2005).
There is also Scott Hall, who was with the company from 1992 to 1996 and was never in the Rumble.

Oh, I was going by 99-06 and his run over the past year.

Through various gimmicks, Kane has been in 19 Rumble matches, the most by a huge margin, given that the second most, HBK, would have to be in 7 more Rumbles just to tie with him. Of any current roster members, Goldust is second to Kane, at 11 Rumble matches.
Kane of course also has the highest combined eliminations, at 44 currently. Again, HBK is behind him, but only by 5. No current roster member is particularly close to matching or overtaking the record, as Undertaker is closest, and he's still 9 behind, Triple H being 11 behind.
Triple H does lead for most cumulative time spent in Royal Rumbles, at just shy of a combined 4 hours. Jericho is about 3 and a half minutes behind, both of whom have been in 9 Rumble matches, though Triple H has had significantly more eliminations than Jericho.
As far as I know, none of these statistics account for unofficial Royal Rumble matches, such as house show ones, or ones held on Raw.

In that same vein, with his modest 13:57 showing in the match this year, Stardust/Cody Rhodes became only the 6th man in WWE history to accumulate more than three hours competing in Royal Rumble matches.
Triple H: 3:59:37 from nine Rumbles Chris Jericho: 3:55:59 from nine Rumbles Shawn Michaels: 3:42:30 from 12 Rumbles Kane/Isaac Yankem DDS/Fake Diesel: 3:38:46 from 19 Rumbles Rey Mysterio: 3:20:01 from seven Rumbles Stardust/Cody Rhodes: 3:08:30 from nine Rumbles

Kofi Kingston currently has the most consecutive Royal Rumble Appearances 2016 was his 8th Rumble in a row having been in every one since 2009.
He will need to be in all of the next 5 to break the record which currently belongs to Kane at 12 who was in every Single Rumble from 1999 to 2011.

Kofi Kingston currently has the most consecutive Royal Rumble Appearances 2016 was his 8th Rumble in a row having been in every one since 2009. Dolph Ziggler has as well. Stardust/Cody Rhodes could have been on 10 in a row if he wasn't taken out a week before the 2011 Rumble to start off the Disfigured Cody angle with Mysterio.

The 2016 Royal Rumble will forever be known as the night Braun Strowman saved us from the Local Men.

So he does ,D'OH!, for whatever reason I had it in my mind that Dolph missed 1 Rumble. Clearly not
So as it stands
Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston: 8 Rumbles in a row now.
They are followed by The Miz and Cody Rhodes/Stardust: 5 Rumbles in a row now.

This is the first time since 2002 that neither the #1 nor #2 entrant has started a rumble before or after(for now)
HHH joins the list of people that drawn #1 and #30. The Undertaker, Dolph Ziggler, Rey Mysterio, Rikishi, Ted Dibiase, and Ric Flair have also done this.

Roman Reigns was the first reigning WWE Champion to compete in the Royal Rumble match since Hulk Hogan in 1990.
