Spider-Man#1 {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Nice to see Bendis make a sly nod to OMD by making the son of Mephisto job to Miles...but on the other hand...he jobbed Blackheart out to a venom blast. Yeah. Ok. I'm not buying that I think this was Miles' equivalent to the " Peter beat Firelord" moment.

Just from how that cover's composed, I can already tell that War Machine is gonna bite it to incite the events of CWII. {Spoiler} The recent rumours where he and She Hulk die, off panel, after the two are sent to face Thanos alone The art of that cover is not up to Coipel's usual standard imo (if that is him on cover duty). The faces on the ladies look weird

Again I would like to point out that this is Bleeding Cool and Rich Johnston. Take everything with a big heaping pile of salt. I've said it before; Rich Johnston & Bleeding Cool blow. The guy searches for people tweeting about him, I had to block the douche

I despise both Mr. Johnston and his site. It's the worst kind of newz site.

Bendis plus political overtones. This will be a horror show.

The ASM newspaper strip is REALLY trying my paitence now...and I'm usually an apologist for it. Peter's been on his arse at that pier for a month-and-a-half going back and forth on whether he wants to punch Namor or not, and Namor is taking a seriously long time to make his mind up about attacking the surface world now that Bellman's interfered and revealed she's Betty Dean's granddaughter. One might start to get the sneeking suspicion the strip's writers have a severe case of writer's block to keep pushing this sequence out so long. It's a shame because prior to this whole development things were getting pretty interesting for a bit when MJ was offering to sacrifice her own happiness with Peter to keep him safe and become an Atlantean princess, and now it's slowed to a crawl, which has hurt my eventual grading of this otherwise fun story. People who follow the strip will ultimately think of it as being on par with other long-winded train-wrecks as Clown 9 and the Mole Man/Aunt May love story (though I actually liked Clown 9 in it's entirety)

So yeah...apparently those leaked Civil War II stories from BC (about certain heroes dying after an altercation with Thanos) are actually spot-on

Fair enough
Slott and Javier Garron are handling "Dead No More" btw.

Kind of adds more credence to Dead No More (or whatever its final title will be) being a Spider-Man focused story.
Also, I suspect the new Wasp won't be a transplanted Hope. It'll be someone different, and possibly a minority character. (I would not be against that)

(I would not be against that) well I posted on the first page they already posted this when talking about Dead No More so it's definitely a Spider-man Story. my only problem with the New Wasp idea is that they tend to never do anything with Jan as it is.

I'd really love if Janet served as a mentor figure for Nu-Wasp, and helped bankroll the ANAD Avengers (of which Nu-Wasp will likely be a part of, since the FCBD story she'll debut in is branded as an ANAD Avengers story).

Been reading Lee and Kirby's Fantastic Four for the first time finally. I was really enjoying it, but I am at issue 62, and despite taking a break to read Simonson's Thor, I'm becoming very bored with it.
There were a couple other slow points that were hard to get through, but it picked back up. Am I just in a bad period for the book, or have I already read the essential classic stuff at this point? I don't want to quit if there's still some awesome classic storylines later on I will miss out on.

So Marvel put out a game similar to The Simpsons Tapped Out called Avengers Academy... started playing it... so far it's "ok" probably won't keep to it long since I already have Tapped Out The heroes are all college aged... John Cena voices the Hulk
