Just wondering which Device you currently watch the WWE network on? I currently use a Playstation 4, but as of late am having real issues with what appears to be an overheating issue (might be due to the Network is on almost 24/7) I have been looking at the Roku & Apple TV as those both appear to be reliable and should not i expect have the same issue i am experiencing with the Playstation 4 Could you possibly share your own experiences using the above devices or possibly recommend an alternative. Thanks for your time. I was looking at the Roku 3 = www.roku.com/en-gb/products/roku-3Apple TV - www.apple.com/tv/The newest Apple TV is slightly more expensive, compared to the Roku 3.

I don't have the Network but I do have a Roku 3. It's been pretty dependable thus far, is always on (it has a sleep mode), and has a lot of other nice features. I like being able to turn on Amazon Prime & Youtube on it when my niece visits. You can also move movies to a flash drive and watch them through it, or if you have a media server you can use that. I like the remote, though my sister prefers to use the app on her phone as the remote control.

I use the Roku as well as game systems to get the Network.
The big thing I'd warn you about using a Roku box is that the WWE Network on Roku has a few serious pros and cons vs. the WWE Network on Playstation 4.
The big pro is that, like every other channel on Roku, every show on the Network is arranged, in order, on one screen and right there to be chosen, with each show organized by a separate line (as opposed to the Network's separating them by different screens.)
However, this also leads to the biggest con- they also use the same style and screen form for each year of programming and events. This can be annoying because where on most streaming devices you can directly go to the exact year you want to and search from there, with the Roku box you have to skip back, year by year, and let that year of programming load, over and over again.
The only benefit for this that counters that con is that there's a number of other pro wrestling channels on Roku, some of which are even free.

I love the Playstation 4 App for the network and have only been started having the issue of overheating a month or so ago, could not watch FastLane due to it kept shutting down and eventually gave-up. But this happens on every show i attempt to stream on the network and also on Playstation 4 games. - So i will obviously need to send my Playstation 4 in for repairs.

I've got the Apple tv and love it. While others have complained about feed issues I've never experienced more than the very occasional hiccup. It's easy to navigate, and had been very reliable. I buy all my movies from Apple so the fact that every app and every movie is in one spot makes me love it more.

I've used Roku Streaming Stick, XB360, Apple TV and PS3. How I'd rate them:
1. Roku - Easiest to run. Have had maybe one live show give me issues in the year+ I've used it. It has become my go to device as well. 2. AppleTV - Haven't used the 4, which is the current model, but the app was designed for use on the Apple TV from day 1 and ported to the others from what I've heard. It is solid, I did have a few issues when my connection was horrible as Apple only seems to run the best stream possible. 3. 360 - Only used once or twice, no real issues. 4. PS3 - Worst. Just horrible. Avoid it, IMO.

Is the PS4 overheating on WWE network a known issue?
I just got a PS4, and the WWE Network ran fine when I had a trial on the PS3. Haven't subscribed for PS4 yet.

I use the new Apple TV and, aside from the occasional hiccup during a PPV, it has been my most reliable device for watching WWE Network. My previous devices were the last-gen Apple TV (good most of the time but prone to crashing) and the PS3 (constant buffering and the feed skipped back occasionally).
Plus, I appreciate that the Apple TV takes up so little space and I can leave it on without it sounding like a hair dryer.

I had a similar issue while using my PS3 a little over a year ago so I went and got a Roku 2. I ended up buying a PS4 but almost always use my Roku for my Network viewing. Hell, I use it for most Netflix and Hulu stuff too.

I'd bet your PS4 is overheating due to other issues. I'd look into fixing that rather than buying another device.

One advantage of the roku app over the ps3 app if you're looking to watch chronologically is they organize ppvs by year. In the ps3 app all the ppvs are organized by ppv name (example royal rumbles are all together, etc.)

I've used Roku, PS3, Sony blu-ray player, Kindle Fire, iPad, and iPhone. The service is garbage on all of them, but I've found that my Apple devices stream the best.
