Bump all these times back by yet another hour because Wrestlemania is 4 hours long. It starts at 7 pm EST rather than 8 like the other PPVs, not including the preshows.

I'm from the US and I think the idea of a London 'Mania is awesome. NFL is by far the most watched sport in the US and plenty of games start at 1pm or 4pm.
With a 5 hour difference, what would be wrong with starting Mania at 9pm UK? That's 4pm eastern, 1pm western. Just like a football game.
It's one day a year. If you're a wrestling fan, you'll make yourself available for it. Worst case scenario, watch it on the network later.

There isn't really much of a stay at home day here for a lot of people. Sunday, since it's a day when a lot of businesses are either closed or close up early, tends to kind of be a last minute, "Scramble to get everything done I need done before I go back to work on Monday," kind of day, or a, "Go take the kids to see a movie and grab lunch before they go back to school," kind of thing, then there's how a lot of churches have both morning and night services on Sundays and there are of course people who'll go to both in a day. It's slower than other days of the week but the world never really stops here. I love learning stuff like this 'cos it is easy to assume the two countries are very similar but I have never known anyone, for example, go to a cinema on a Sunday. Hell, I'm not even sure many of them open on a Sunday around here. Sundays at cinemas are pretty busy. Even more so when there's a Bank Holiday Monday following it.

On the one hand, WrestleMania in London is one of the biggest no brainers if they can sort out time differences etc. It's a gateway to the rest of Europe, it has a tonne of venues to hold events in and it'll have one of the best crowds 'Mania's ever had.
On the other hand, Boris Johnson is a shitbag for several reasons I can't mention who has basically gone through his political career by being a funny goofball. He is funny but funny shouldn't get you to become Mayor of freaking London!

If they did go for London I guess Wembley would be the only choice so they'd have to hold the show early as the stadium has a 10:30 curfew due to being near residential areas. Theyd then need an arena nearby for Raw and the HOF, there is Wembley arena right opposite the stadium but that is far too small for Raw the night after mania.
I know London has tons of arenas, but isn't it the o2 they usually do Raw at? Arent Greenwich and Wembley the opposite sides of London?

They've got the whole Olympic village around it, and most of the nearby residents were turfed out beforehand, so presumably it wouldn't be as disruptive as Wembley. Plus, we might as well use it for something now.

I'd love for a really International Mania (Canada shouldn't really count). It's a great sign when a city is really for having the event there. It reminds me of how Detroit was really behind having WM 23 there.

Do a Network special there, just like the old UK PPVs. It worked for NXT already. They are in September, it's on a Wednesday for some bizarre reason.

Got a better chance for Wrestlemania on the Moon before that happens.

What's the time start consensus? 12 PM or 1 PM?
Pass. I like having my day open to do things I need to do before work on Monday.

Boris is a hefty chap with a unique look who once rugby tackled an opponent in a charity football match. Get him in the ring.

I don't know about Wrestlemania, but once New York is done with Summerslam, they could totally do another Summerslam there.

I'd argue you were right about airing Wrestlemania at such weird hours on a Sunday if American Football didn't garner some of the best ratings all day long on Sunday, morning to night.
It's doable, Vince just has to want to do it. And for that to happen, they're going to need a big British guy to garner the hometown pop, honestly. Barrett's the closest they've got, and he's a) heel and b) on the way out the door.

I just realised that Enzo's latest haircut must have been inspired by Boris Johnson.
Now I want Boris to join them for their entrance. "If I had a Euro for every time..." (you know where that's going)

Where? The City of London is pretty small. Wembley would be the obvious one but there are lots of venues they could use.

Even though I'm pretty much burnt out with Wrestling atm, I would happily come out of my Hiatus if Wrestlemania came to the UK.
Be nice not to have to be up in the early hours of the morning to not watch a PPV for once.
