Texano vs Fantasma vs Mundo will be this years' Rey del Reyes match, all three are champions in AAA so they are facing one another in a triple threat in the main event. Given the skeleton crew they have, they aren't doing the tournament format this year.
Aero Star and Super Fly will face each other in a Mask vs Hair match.
Given his popularity as well as his character in LU, AAA surely wouldn't have Aero lose his mask right?

Apparently AAA is threatening companies that book and use Fenix and Pentagon.

Yoshi Tatsu has apparently aligned himself with Los Ingobernables as he's been teaming with them and wrestling a more rudo style including low blows and ripping off masks. Matt Taven will challenge Ultimo Guerrero for Guerrero's NWA Middleweight Title on the 17th. Yoshi will be Los Ingobernables Bone Soldier "Cien" Almas: Yoshi f***ing Tatsu? Get the f*** out of here!

AAA have filed for a trademark on "Penta 0M". They've also threatened legal action on an indie from California called PCW for booking Pentagon and Fenix. They said that they are the owner of the names "Pentagon Jr", "Penta 0M", "Fenix" and "Rey Fenix". However Fenix applied for a trademark on Rey Fenix last year, way before AAA. Pentagon is also going to court over AAA filing the trademark.

LU head honchos need to hold an intervention with Dorian because they are going to f*** away their remaining fanfare because of how Roldan is going after Penta, Fenix, and the other ex AAA people. Either rein him in or watch your cornerstones & fans head to greener pastures. Zorro and Rey Mysterio joined La Rebellion in CRASH. That brings the total to 6 people. Got another 20 more to catch the Bullet Club members. Lashley and the Bucks are scheduled for the next show. TNA officials were at the CRASH show filming stuff. Probably not the match with Double J and Eli Drake since there were LU contracted people involved. AAA held its first series of tryouts. Zeuxis lost the Mexican Women's championship to Princesa Sugehit last night. Zeuxis had defended the title for 8 successful defenses and held it for 2 years. Cue the rumors of her leaving for WWE/NXT.

The Rodlans seem intent on burning everything to the ground. They're going to pull a Cersei at this rate and blow it all up with wildfire.
They claim they have sellouts at shows, but I wonder if some of those there are plants placed there by them.

The most amazing (amazingly hilarious or amazingly terrible? YOU DECIDE) part of new AAA's tryouts is that one of the guys there is this gentleman (bottom right, in the familiar mask): "Pentagoncito", a local man who's been wrestling under an unauthorized ripoff of the Pentagon gimmick. Like fat indie Doink. And AAA's now giving him a spotlight/publicity right as they're pursuing legal action against real Pentagon Jr.

Add Sexy Star to the ranks of La Rebelion. At this pace, every former AAA person with LU connections will be a member of this group. Guess Jack Evans is next.

Somebody seriously needs to clean up as much of the bullshit in Lucha as possible. Never will happen. Lucha libre is ran much different than other places where backstage politics and vendettas run wild. Be like trying to get Yazuka money out of puroresu. Good luck on that.

Like AAA not going into Tampico for shows because of security concerns aka the drug cartels ran their asses off. Things happen in the lucha scene that people wouldn't believe.

I was told that a lot of the LU guys brought in from AAA were Midcard guys who weren't doing much in Mexico. How true is this? Did these guys get pushed after they got over in LU? Are there giant stars in AAA that don't get booked in LU? Sorry for all the questions but I'm bored at work and know next to nothing about the Mexican scene

Sorry for all the questions but I'm bored at work and know next to nothing about the Mexican scene Guys like Fenix, Pentagon, Drago and others were basically just extra bodies on the AAA roster at the time. Konnan brought them into Lucha Underground as they were guys he was wanting to build AAA around at the time. When they got brought into LU and exposed to American audiences, they stock shot up through the roof and became in demand with many promoters. But despite how over they've become, AAA still just saw them as nothing more than enhancement talent and overlooked them in favor of The Clowns and Pagano.
