Are they really trying to jam 4 matches into an hour pre show and then spreading 7 out over the course of 4 hours? Are each of the main events getting an hour each? I like Roman, but how long does the main event realy need to be this year?

The matches people actually care about get time to breathe, while the rubbish gets rushed through. Makes sense to me.

This isn't anything new really, most Manias in the past few years have only had seven or eight matches due to WWE being absolutely atrocious with time management. I'm sure it had to be 7 to fit Rock blathering on about nothing and getting Tapeworm Breath or something to trend.
Also it bares noting they've been telling cable providers to expect a 20 minute overrun.

2 hour preshow and I think only two of the matches will be in the hour USA will air.
The rest, you have to remember special entrances, musical guests, video packages, the HOF bit and other fluff pieces.

Why even have a preshow, why not just make mania 6 hours and be done with it

Why even have a preshow, why not just make mania 6 hours and be done with it Preshow's there to be a last-minute push to get people to subscribe to keep watching from where they're leaving off (related point, I'm amazed they've yet to have a match on the preshow run long and bleed into the show proper) and have something going on for the crowd that's in there while the rest files into the building.

You gotta save 40 minutes for all the entrances and then another 30 for the Rock standing there to applause before he starts his promo.

At least they picked the right matches for pre show.

7 matches on the main show is more than enough. It's mania where they usually have like at least 4 20+ minute epics, need all the fluff to avoid getting burned out.
That mania the one year they scrapped all the backstage segments and just showed matches and a few short videos hyping The Rock and Cena was such a slog.

I honestly say get rid of the Usos vs Dudleys match and add them to the ATGMBR.
Then have the Divas match and US Title headline the preshow with the Battle Royal being the opener for WM32.

US title match and Usos vs Dudleyz will be on the preshow's first hour (WWE Network)
ATGMBR and Women's tag match will be on the second hour before the main show starts (USA Network)
I seriously doubt anyone really cares about any of these matches, so it's no biggie
As someone correctly said, you can expect all WM matches to go minimum 15 minutes, probably most of them over 20

It's possible that from first bell of the first match to the last bell of the last match, this may end up being one of the longest shows in WWE history.
(I'd bet it's actually one of those super tapings of Superstars/Wrestling Challenge in the '80s that would cover them for an entire month of TV, though)

So wait a minute, will some of the stuff on the preshow be exclusive to USA network? Or is it like the free preshow on youtube or whatever will get two of them and USA will get the other ones but the WWE Network feed will get all of them?

My understanding is that it's a two-hour preshow on WWE Network and YouTube, with the second hour of that preshow to be simulcast on USA along with the Network/YouTube. Whatever happens in the first hour won't be aired on USA (only the Network/YouTube), while what happens in the second hour will be aired on all three. EDIT: I made a graphic to hopefully make sense of it...

Yeah if your going to basically split Mania into two shows, preshow and main show then you may as well just make it 6 hours. Its stupid. Having 1 match on the preshow should be enough as a teaser to buy the PPV. I know it doesnt work that way anymore with the Network, but still 4 matches??

It's slightly preferable to the years matches got cut short because they run out of time.
