It saddens me that some people feel the need the celebrate that someone has to leave the way she does. I was a fan of Nikki and Brie and now both may be gone, Nikki has improved in the ring and was decent on the promos.

No need for another referendum on AJ.
This sucks. I like Nikki a good bit. And it healthy, she still could've been a valuable part of the division.

Damn shame if it has to end this way, I don't like seeing anyone go out because of injury, whether I enjoyed them or not. It just sucks. Two things, though. First, if WWE knew but pushed her to keep going for "the record" it's kinda...well, shitty is a good word for it. You don't mess with neck issues, I thought that was pretty concrete. Second, so for years and years, the Bellas were shown as the be all end all of the division, and now...now they're both gone, but at least we have a few that are being established as important and not just "nobody's on the Bellas level" like we had for a while there, which would just tank the whole thing. It's a weird way to think of it but it does seem like the end of an era, I always thought the Bellas always at least looked passable in the ring so I never really held much against them specifically but they were the last remnants of what I consider to be a really embarrassing time for WWE as far as womens' wrestling goes. I mean the eye candy stuff from the Attitude era onward was embarrassing in its own way, but it was incredibly depressing seeing swimsuit models getting on the job training on national television in what's supposed to be the best wrestling company in the world and taking precedence over real talented women wrestlers. A lot of them grew into it but that's still a sloppy way for the number one company to do things. I don't really give much credence to the "they killed her to crush AJ's record" thing because the Bellas were gonna get pushed whether she had a title or not, what happened was gonna happen eventually anyways I think.

Won't be missed, but sucks for her.At least she will be able to live a normal life.
Also, people should start to realize oto not put unnecesary pressure on your neck area

Did not know Kidd's was career ending, but it was pretty bad so I'm not shocked at all. Well, it isn't technically, but I'd very surprised if he came back. The vast majority of people who get his particular injury either die or end up in a wheelchair, and he somehow avoided both. If I were in his shoes I'd be retiring to my Japan tapes, my cats and my sex with Nattie. That last part to me is basically no matter the outcome, he still wins.

Even if I'm not the biggest fan of Nikki, it sucks that her career has to end like this.

I don't know what annoys me more. The "ding dong the witch is dead" posts or the "everything about her run was specifically done to smite the name of my goddess AJ" posts. Yes.

I always found Nikki Bella dull as dirt when she wrestled, even after she "improved".
It does suck that she was injured, and I hope that she recovers well, but I won't pretend that I'll miss seeing her in the ring.

Nikki was fine toward the end--her character was godawful, but that's more on the WWE than her, and her ring work was solid.
It sucks that her career ended this way, but I do wonder if the reason she never defended the belt to begin with was to see if rest would help the neck. I know the WWE has absolutely no leg to stand on when it comes to their pettiness and whatnot, but that did enter my mind.

I am not a fan of anything Nikki Bella has ever done in wrestling aside from her ring entrance, but at the same time, it sucks for anyone's career to end due to injury. Hopefully she heals up well.

I don't wish injury on anyone, but this is honestly good for the Divas division. If she came back full time, it would only serve to derail all the good that's happened in her absence. WrestleMania's Divas Title match is going to be a match people actually care about, and all three of them (two especially) are very over. Nikki leaving is basically the equivalent of if Triple H got sidelined in early 2003. Poor guy, but would have greatly benefit the title and fans' enjoyment of said title.

Even if you must cry that the Lioness has been slayed by injury instead of in glorious YAAAS QUEEN SLAY battle, just take solace that she can have the grand retirement a gladiatrix like her deserves to see her legacy live on, rather than follow her idol Misawa into Valhalla like all the mightiest warriors go.
It is not a day to cry, but to smile upon the finish of the lioness's work.

I just don't know what goes through peoples minds:
1. Find out someone probably won't be able to continue their career due to injury.
2. Go and post that the person either added no value to the business or it's good that they are not going to be able to continue their career.

It's sad her career ended in a neck injury like her mentor Misawa did. I like to imagine the Spirit of Misawa saved Nikki from a fatal broken neck. "NOOOOOOOO LIONESS QUEEN NIKKI YOU WON'T BE SLAYYYYYED!"

Not a huge loss, but it's always sad when someone has to retire due to an injury rather than on their own terms...
