So, the new belt is going to look like this: I hate to be that guy but you know the scratch logo is a dead giveaway to this being fake right. The only thing I heard so far was a new belt for the Divas championship. It actually looks like there is another belt in the corner above it

The guy on Reddit who, unprompted, spoiled the IC title match line-up for WM also said this was happening. No one noticed.
It's happening. I'm just curious about the lineage now.

So if this is to replace the Divas title, that's pretty much a certainty that Charlotte is losing right? Otherwise would she just start a second reign as the first WWE Women's champion? Not entirely. She could always retire the Divas' belt because it is "beneath" her and none of those previous title holders deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as her. Then she loses via rollup to Bayley. Also if it's a smaller version of the big gold belt having Flair's kid hold it might make sense.

This isn't a fake its a mock up done in the reddit comments based on the rumours. Not trying to be a jerk, but what's the difference between that and a fake?

And here I thought it was going to re-branded to the "Demented" division.

The belt absolutely needed to be changed but there was no real problem with the actual word "Divas" in general. Every use of the word "Diva" I've ever heard outside of WWE (ignoring classical definitions) either is a synonym for drama queen, or bitch. If they're taking it seriously, then not basically saying "and now the bitches" every week is a good start. To me the "here come the bitches" treatment along with the belt design is a separate and much more important issue than whether the female performers are called "Divas" or "Women's wrestlers".

I mean, their (technical) main competitor has bigger problems than the fact that its name is Tits n Ass, but it wouldn't hurt to have a rebrand.

Unless this is more proof that the brand split is returning and they (wrongly) feel the need for two titles again. I can see that happening
If not and they just do an angle where they kill the Divas Title and revive the Women's Title and use the old lineage. From Layla to whoever wins at Mania. (Likely Sasha)

In fact by doing so it actually sets up an opportunity to bring in Bayley to resume her feud sign Sasha. NXT Women's Champ vs WWE Women's Champ. But have Bayley soon drop her title thanks to Sasha and then it's just for WWE Title. Perhaps let Emma take the NXT Title from Bayley

The belt absolutely needed to be changed but there was no real problem with the actual word "Divas" in general. Actually there's quite a bit wrong with the word "Divas" in general. That's the whole point of the change. The definition of diva is not a positive connotation. Go to any woman you know and ask her "If I referred to you as a diva, how would that make you feel?". Most any woman I know use "diva" as a negative. "Oh, shes such a diva." That's not a compliment. For a while, there was a pop culture thing where it was being used in a more positive light, i.e. the VH1 Divas shows they had for a while and the WWE kind of jumped on board that train, but it's passe now. It made sense when the division was largely about eye candy and in ring work wasnt as important because in a lot of ways it worked since it was more about the drama than a match or actual in-ring talent. Its another when they're clearly changing the direction of women's wrestling in the company to show that the women in ring are just as popular and talented as the men. It's a very positive move and takes very little effort to implement or for fans to get used to.

I really, really hope this is true. Diva is an awful word and extremely out dated. The pink/purple butterfly belt is also one of the worst wrestling belt design of all time. The old WWE Women's Championship design was nice and simple, I was PISSED when they dumped the title in favour for an ugly, girly belt that didn't even have much of a lineage.

Here what I read on Belttalk, which is the site where the first picture of the Big Logo came from. Back in Feb, the owner of the site, BeltFanDan, post these two comment in a thread.
Then in other thread, he say he might know who Kayfabe (the reddit user) and say this.
When it comes to knowledge of belts, I'd trust him.

Never heard Beyonce's song Diva... or the Diva specials VH1 used to be all about then (or well Opera... since it means female opera singer) As I said there was a big resurgence for like 10-15 years where the title was used in it's proper context again. But that's been dead for at least half a decade at this point.

Between getting real female wrestlers competing for the belt and now this, I'm elated. As the father of a 5 year old girl who loves Sasha, Becky, and Bayley, it's cool to see the women get this opportunity to be taken just as seriously as the men. Dude, I'm with you. As the father of an 8 yr old boy who loves Sasha, Becky and Bailey, I feel the same.

That tacky butterfly belt should've never replaced the original WWE Women's Championship to begin with. Getting rid of that design and retiring the "Divas" name shows they're at least trying to make perception of the women wrestler taken more seriously.

Very very excited for this. I've never been particularly against the term "divas" or the butterfly belt because of the wrestling was good enough, non of that would have even mattered. But really this needs to happen because of the way women's wresting has been treated the past God knows how many years. The belt didn't help the cause, but the 2 to 5 minute matches and the bikini contests and mind-numbingly stupid feuds were the biggest problems. Now we're getting away from that and a complete facelift drives that point home.
If WWE takes women's wresting seriously, soon enough most of the audience will as well. And having a championship that's treated as the female equivalent of the men's is an important step.
Anyway, that's all great news and I can't wait to see the change take place.

So I decided to see the reactions of ratchet diva fans and boy, did I sure make a mistake because I feel like I have cancer after reading that forum and some parts of Twitter.
There's bitching about the ugly butterfly belt being replaced, acting like the diva's title will be Benoit'd and never mentioned again, how the division from 2008 will never be spoken about again and how they deserve to lose ratings if that happens, how Naomi will never ever win the Diva's title that she wanted, they called Nikki "Queen" (uuuugh) and about how her accomplishment means shit now, blaming the Four Horsewomen about how their childhoods are "trashed", how they aren't going to be "stans" (just say ****ing fans, you losers) anymore. Oh, and there's also now kind of a grudge against Sasha Banks for ...reasons.
Jesus Christ. What is wrong with these people? Imagine their reactions whenever Total Divas gets cancelled.

So, the new belt is going to look like this: Maybe it's my eyes, ot because I'm looking at it in my phone, or maybe it's because it's on that red liner, but I can't tell if that's a light pink strap or a white strap. EDIT: Somehow, after I posted that, it really became clear that it's pink. Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue. I thought it was white until I read your post. Can't be the glue thing because...well...
