Unless it's someone I'm a superfan of, or who's really engaging in the stories they're telling I'd tend to agree. Being hugely entertaining isn't something it's for of course, which is why I don't generally seek it out.
But then, awards shows in general I don't care about.

If a wrestler has a story, or a past where we thought maybe theyd never wind up back with wwe, or survive long enough to make it it piques my interest.
If its like this year when its "hey these guys are from Texas" i tend to pass.

I watched the entire show PLUS the red carpet pre-show. And I enjoyed it all. I always enjoy the stories and speeches. Some more than others, but it's a fun ceremony.
