I'm not a huge Colt fan, but holy shit that promo was outstanding. The fact that they didn't spend months and months building around it is a huge mark against ROH, in my opinion. How do we know that was the payoff? How do we know they're not extending the story with the angle last night? Why can't they do months of awkward alliance between HoT and Colt against Cole and the BC culminating in a more well built title match for him? Hey, that could very well happen. I'll be absolutely f***ing shocked if anything like that happens, though.

Cabana took the mic after they went off the air and told the crowd this is not a one time thing and that while he may not have won tonight, he sure did not lose and he will get a rematch for the title.

Still not sure whether I loved or hated last night's ending. Bit of a weird one. Guess I'll have to take a wait and see approach.
Loved Fish choking Ishii out though. Anything to get the belt off Ishii, the wrestling gods answer my prayers.

Csonka is a good reviewer and his feelings are totally valid.
A bad ending can ruin an entire show. If he hated the ending, it may not matter that there were things on the show he liked. It's absolutely okay to give a lot of weight to the finale.
Personally, I think Evolve's ppv ending swerve is a lot more interesting.

After that bump Liger's off tonight's show and possibly the rest of the tour.

My guess is Cole is in Bullet Club just so he can be World Champion again. Either way, I am looking forward to seeing how this goes.

It's absolutely okay to give a lot of weight to the finale. Personally, I think Evolve's ppv ending swerve is a lot more interesting. During the 96-98 NWO period in wcw they had tons of great wrestling on the shows but crappy main events with run-in non finishes and people would bitch that the shows were terrible because people a lot of time only remember that last thing they saw. While wwf during that time period had horrible cards with terrible wrestling but the main eventers delievered and that made people think the shows were great. As for this roh show I didn't hate the ending I'm glad their actually doing something with Adam Cole but paying $45 for that finish left a bad taste in my mouth. If it was a free tv show that's a perfectly fine finish. My main problem with roh PPV's is they always seem so rushed they have a great talent roster but they book too many matches so the matches haven't really delievered.Since they started these in 2014 the only matches that have lived up to the hype were Lethal/Briscoe and Kyle/Cole.Whenever roh had a ppv I see the card and I'm stoked and then I watch the show and I'm underwhelmed.

Just caught up with the show and that ending was ROH's worst work in the longest of times. Corino's great but that superkick counter, while it was fun for the 8 man tag was way too cute to be a part of that main event angle, and him marking out for superkicks is funny when the stakes aren't that high but in this scenario he really should have cut it out. The 40+ superkicks looked ridiculous, stop running your heads into their feet! Why wasn't anyone who knew how to fight coming out? Who was the ponytail and sparkly jacket guy? Holy Jesus...The story of Colt getting his big match back was good enough here, if there was five minutes left in the show I'd have given the match a little more time and cut a lot of fat out of that final beatdown.
Especially in ROH when they dole out justice for guys sticking their hands on a referee. The Bullet Club just committed a ROH official holocaust, they should have been fired. This was such an awesome show and then that ending was like a pent up release of Wrestlecrap. Crazy.

Just plowed the entire show earlier today. It's amazing how a pretty good show ended with such a massive dumpster fire. My heart goes out to everyone who wasted $45 on it. I think what makes it all so worse is the fact that the main event was REALLY good up until the bullshit finish. I knew the outcome and I was still invested in the story that Cabana and Lethal were telling. Everything up to the ending was fine. But that ending will surely go down in history as being on a legendary level of terrible.
Also, I wouldn't lose a wink of sleep if the Young Bucks were never seen or heard from again. At this point, they're a joke that once was funny but has been rammed way down into the ground.
I've bitched about the same thing when it comes to WWE shows: Awful booking ruins what could've been an otherwise good show.

Adam Cole hasn't really had the same essence to him since he lost the title and being in the Bullet Club should really give him that juice that he was missing, and going forward I think this is a good storyline for shows. Just the execution here was remarkably terrible. This is the second time Adam Cole f***ed up a PPV main event and this one in particular was one of the biggest matches in a while in terms of history.
