I'd imagine that also means he is done in Chicago for good. And he'll most likely become the new QB for the Jets in 2017.(One of the saddest sentences I've said about my team) I hope so bad that Cutler goes to Cleveland.

As washed-up as they appear to be, Jay Cutler and Tony Romo will still be pretty hot commodities this coming off-season. Unless you have a historic defense (2000 Ravens, 2002 Buccaneers, 2015 Broncos), you need a good-to-great quarterback to make any sort of impact in the playoffs. There are teams that probably think they're one piece away, but that one piece is the most important - the signal caller.
Neither Cutler nor Romo are close to what they were five years ago, but they're still above-average quarterbacks who can get the job done if you put the right playmakers around them. I've got to imagine at least a few teams will be inquiring about their availability prior to the 2017 NFL Draft. And if you don't believe me, just look at what the Vikings gave up to trade for Sam Bradford (who is not as good as Cutler or Romo).

The Patriots and Rob Gronkowski's family have released a statement saying he is unlikely to play again this season, but that a final determination will not be made until after he undergoes surgery on Friday.

It's a HUGE market, that's all that franchises see, they just ignore that any NFL team is going to be a distant 6th in terms of being a sports draw behind the Dodgers, Lakers, Trojans, Bruins, and now Clippers. That's not even including everything else entertainment wise in Los Angeles. They couldn't sell out when the Raiders and Rams were kicking ass. When it comes to football Los Angeles has always been a USC and UCLA city.

Gronk's beat-up body trying to get around at 45 is going to be a sad sight.
He'll barely be able to dance in his drawers at nightclubs

The problem is oversaturation. 2 College teams and 2 NFL teams is too much. Chargers moving there will create an even bigger mess for the Rams. Not a fan.

Damn Ex-Jets Joe McKnight killed in apparent road rage incident. RIP. And his killer was released in just 12 hours with no charges brought against him. F*** sakes, Louisiana.

The Los Angeles Rams, even with the cache of being the new team in town, are 29th out of the 32 NFL franchises in attendance capacity at 89.2 percent, ranking ahead of only Oakland, Washington, and San Diego. Yet the city and its fans are being rewarded with a second team?
Let's not kid ourselves, Los Angeles is the most fairweather sports city in the country. Sure, they'll pack the Staples Center, Dodger Stadium, or the Coliseum if the Lakers, Clippers, Dodgers, or Rams are good, but the second they hit mediocre (not even necessarily bad), the fans bail. Part of me can't blame them because why would you waste three hours of your day watching a lousy team bumble to another loss when you could be enjoying walks in perfect weather, a swim at pristine beaches, or the company of beautiful women, but there has to be some level of commitment.
If the Rams fans can't even fill the Coliseum when they have professional football for the first time in more than 20 years, what's it going to look like in about a decade once the novelty has worn off AND there's a second team in the city? Will they have to tarp off massive swaths of seats like they do in Jacksonville? Will they have to renovate the stadium and in doing so massively reduce capacity like Miami?

In fairness, the Coliseum has an ungodly amount of seats. On terms of real attendance, Rams are 7th in the league.

Will they have to tarp off massive swaths of seats like they do in Jacksonville? Will they have to renovate the stadium and in doing so massively reduce capacity like Miami? Where did you get those numbers from? Besides, the max capacity of LA Coliseum is 93,607, making it the largest in the NFL. Even at 89.2% that still averages to about 83,497 per game. That's more than most other stadiums can even hold. Gillette Stadium, for example, can only hold 66,829. Percentages can skew the total count. Also keep in mind that the Rams won't play in the Coliseum forever. They're getting a new stadium built for them that is projected to open in 2019 and will hold about 80,000. Still, it's way too early for LA to get a second team. Even if they split the stadium, it'll be tough for the Chargers to get new fans in LA.

I'd be more impressed if he was cut for domestic violence rather than pot. NFL still struggles with those priorities.

Truth be told, I'm not certain that isn't the right call. Reports state that McKnight was shot 3 times and the shell casings were all found in the shooters car in the place they would be found if someone shot from their drivers seat towards someone standing outside their passenger window. The wounds might also be consistent with that. That's not to say that there isn't some bullshit involved. It sounds as though the police were very determined to find a weapon that they could claim was McKnight's, but none were found. There is also the issue of the witness account (that the police claim does not match the evidence). There might also be some surveillance video involved, and if that is true then we should learn the truth soon enough.

The interesting thing about the LA franchises is that every visiting team will be represented fairly heavily due to transplants. Unless the Rams/Chargers become world beaters, prepare for games to sound a lot more like the old Yeah/Boo Cena matches than traditional football games.
Except Jacksonville. The 3 Jacksonville fans are all still in Florida. So once every so many years LA will get a 100% home game.
