What actors do you count on to constantly be in a good movie?
I'd say Jodie Foster. When she decides to be in a movie you can expect it to be a good one.

I am a huge Ben Affleck fan. I don't mean that every movie Affleck is in is good, cause there are times when I wondered why he bothered with certain scripts. But his performances have always been good, in my opinion.

I would have to say Sean Connery, although his choices in NOT doing some movies is questionable.

Ben Affleck has yet to disappoint me. James Franco is the most promising, and his stock is now rising.
Those are the only two I care about currently.

I forgot about F. Murray Abraham, as well.
He was awesome in Amadeus.
I didn't realize it until yesterday that he was Omar in Scarface.
And the one thing that I love about Star Trek: Insurrection is his performance as the villian, Ru'Afo. The rest of the movie is so-so.

Gary Oldman.....no matter what he gives it everything he's got and is entertaining. Mifune as well, from a meek accountant, to a struggling cop, to a feudal samurai/ronin he's always held my attention.....
But really there's a ton of actors that deserve their props.

anyway, Bruce Campbell always puts on a good performance, even in a crap movie. Have to agree there. Bruce Campbell can un-crap at least his part of a movie like no one's business. I'm kinda partial to Denzel Washington. He's one of those "improves things just by showing up" actors to me.
