I’ve been playing Shakedown Hawaii and enjoying but I’ve seen mixed reviews I’m wondering if anyone else here has played it and their thoughts?

All I wanted was a multiplayer mode and I got that so... well done!

Honestly most interesting part of that is the game vouchers thing, that sounds like one hell of a deal.
That said it does really look like a much better game than the first one... though I'm rather confused about why they have an 'extra' mode for themes with only one new theme actually in it. Possible post-launch SMB2 theme maybe?
Either way, I'm guessing I'll probably pick Mario Maker 2 up at some point but still not inclined to pay full price for it. Maybe will do the game voucher thing and get it for $40 when I get Fire Emblem.
Though one thing I am actively against is the weird hijinks with the night levels. Not opposed to having those as options but I would like to be able to just... have night levels and that's that, no extra hiccups involved.

I mean the voucher is basically 2 10 dollars promotion.
Not great, but you can use on first party games, which almost never go on promotion

Voucher's pretty nifty. I'm quite happy with a lot of the stuff they showed off here. I'm hoping that there will be even more surprises.

Boom Boom is a madlad.
Also the Undo Dog from Mario Paint being in this as a character is great.

Damnit Nintendo, Super Mario Maker 2 looks ace, I bought a Wii U for the first one and I get the feeling this might make me get a switch.

Rewatching the Direct, and I'm fairly certain the announcer used the term embiggens.
I wasn't aware it was such a cromulent word to Nintendo of America.

Already have Mario Maker 2 preordered and it looks like I made the right choice.

For some reason the voucher thing is being discontinued in North America at the end of July. What's the point then, just to help sell Fire Emblem off the back of Mario Maker?

Shared the main vid with some friends, one reply
“Pegi 3....and then Mario and Luigi make a phallus.”

I'll be blunt; I'm not legally allowed to talk about all the details of Mario Kart Tour, but if you guys hate how gacha games operate, you'll hate how Mario Kart Tour works from a gameplay and mechanical standpoint.

I mean, I really have no clue why unless it's their only option anyone would want to play a cellphone Mario Kart to start with. I don't see a way in which that could be fun, the typical format's just not conductive to the appeal of Mario Kart.
