It's almost a running joke that someone will inevitably call the most current episode of Raw the worst ever but Raw has an over 23 year history to cover. What do you think is actually the worst episode? I don't know myself but if I had to hazard a guess it would probably be during the guest host era.

Little people's court, don't watch raw from 2009, or 2004.
In fact it would be better if you don't watch raw at all.

Depends on how you look at it. None made me angry like the night after Survivor Series 2001. Flair shows up the night after the Invasion ends. Even his home state crowd was fairly mild in a 'where the f*** have you been?' way.

Wouldn't call it the worst ever but that episode where Ziggler, Rowan, and Ryback got fired is seriously one of the worst pieces of shit I've ever seen.

Can a show be the worst if it has one angle on it that's fantastic? The Nexus debut episode of Raw ended on a major, unreal high. The 2 hours and 50 minutes that preceded it might be one of the worst shows of all time.

Think in 97 they did an episode from like South Africa with no commentary. That's gotta be up there.

I just remember 2009 being one awful Raw after another with celebrity hosts that couldn't give a shit. Sometimes you'd get a Bob Barker but most of the time it was Jeremy Piven and NASCAR guys

Rock's birthday special is definitely in the running. The final segment of that show was so bizarre. It felt like it was 100% set up to have someone return (or at least a regular come out) and beat down the Rock. You don't just dedicate a three hour show to kissing one man's ass non-stop. Vince is on the stage, Rock is distracted, and ......... we sing. We sing and then we go off the air. Goodnight. W T F

The 2 hours and 50 minutes that preceded it might be one of the worst shows of all time. I seriously wonder if they purposed it that way. Like I remember Paul Heyman once booked purposely terrible ECW shows with great endings including one episode that was so bad but it ended with The Sandman returning. Basically he was training the audience that anything amazing could happen despite what the shitty card says.

I think I vote Rock's birthday Raw. Nothing but a bunch of overindulgent garbage that led to nothing at all on a show that refused to really do anything of substance at all, and the one good thing - the Miz / Cena match - was marred by that stupid ending where Miz was DQed entirely on ref instinct without him even asking for a replay or anything.

In hindsight, the Benoit Tribute Episode. Well damn, I didn't even think of that. I can honestly say that's the only Raw I have zero desire to ever see again.

The Little People's Court episode from 2009. Though I will admit I wasn't watching wrestling before 1997, and have only seen a few full episodes and a bunch of random matches from before that.

Rock's birthday special is definitely in the running. The things I mostly remember were Pitbull coming out with the Miami Heat cheerleaders. Some celebs wishing Rock a happy birthday, particularly Paul Walker (RIP) and Vin Diesel. Also, The Rock kissing Mae Young in front of Vickie Guerrero for some odd reason. Let's not forgot when Rock said "WE GOT HIM!" in the wake of Bin Laden's death.
