Here's a photo of it, just in case you were looking through this thread for a photo of it and didn't want to go to WWE.com to find it. Because you missed Summerslam because you were watching a movie with your Nan instead;

It looks like it's made of gummies.

That belt looks like the cheap replica you'd buy for 99.99 if you were desperate and didn't want to spend the $295 for a legit model.

Nothing says new championship like a cheap knockoff of SmackDown's title.

I've seen worse belts, but that's some faint praise if I've ever heard it.

Soooo... do they have a backup plan given the fact that their brand new championship is a piece of garbage?

Soooo... do they have a backup plan given the fact that their brand new championship is a piece of garbage? Same backup plan they had when fans started booing the shit out of Reigns and chanting for Ziggler over Sheamus.

Rollins with a shot at anyone who hates the new belt In case he deletes it. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} WWE let me down with that piece of shit Summerslam they put on. Get outta here with the disappointed father crap, Seth. The belt's whack and they got into the match when stuff that was worth getting into started happening.

I'm pretty sure the only cheers they didn't add were the seagulls:

I'm pretty sure the only cheers they didn't add were the seagulls: Mick's music sounds like they turned it up (or dubbed it in) to mask the boos.

Rollins with a shot at anyone who hates the new belt In case he deletes it. {Spoiler}{Spoiler} Eh. He's not wrong in a certain respect, but I think he's mostly off the mark here. Aesthetics matter especially in a sport where championships are so visible and on display so prominently. Its not like the newest college football trophy (which is crap looking) which you see one night a year or only in promotional material. Rollins' point makes sense. To the guys "fighting" over it, it could be a golden phallus or even a belt made out of aluminum foil and it'd still matter to them. But to fans, its about the visual. 99.99% of us will never hold these belts so appearance means a lot more. And they're not gonna sell many replicas of this piece of crap. IMO this is the worst belt since the butterfly belt which was largely silly but at least that was somewhat pleasing visually. This one is painful to even look at. I hated the spinner more, but that one made sense when it was just Cena's belt. It became a hated belt for me when it became the defacto belt.

Can WWE take criticism for once and not blame it on their fanbase? I can't think of any other entertainment company that expresses such open disdain for their audience.

If anything I feel like WWE is catering to their hardcore fanbase more than ever only for that fanbase to turn around and still complain that everything is horrible.

They dont even blame it on the fanbase. They just completely write the opinions of the fanbase off, which IMO is worse. The issue is more that we keep giving them money which is basically a license for them to do it. I'm not suggesting a boycott or anything like that because of the ugliness of this damn belt (other than by not buying the piece of shit), but as long as WWE makes money from their fanbase unless the reaction is literally toxic to their bottom line they're going to consistently write them off. From the muting of Roman's boos, to just stating things like "oh they hate everything", its just a different fruit from the same tree.

Make it black while leaving everything else the same and it might be bearable to some.

Make it black while leaving everything else the same and it might be bearable to some. I think if it wasn't all red it might work. Maybe white or black stitching and paint the space behind the logo that color as well. Something that stops it from looking like a ketchup soaked piece of leather.
